Perfect casting, she looks small, yet strong, he looks tall and imposing, yet kind. He looks down to her, she looks up to him, but their honest hearts are in tandem ❤️ She's always lurking around on empty roads for him, he always has her back even in her absence! That's loyalty!

Sad to see so many ppl get hyped up on cliche romance kdramas with very predictable endings ignoring a series like this. My Mister is a one-of-a-kind drama that viewers initially will (naturally) expect romance from the leads, but along the way we know the likelihood of tht happening is very little. But then agn, the chemistry between them really sparked something special both in a non-romantical and romantical way. You don’t find this kind of drama anywhere. The authenticity tht this show gives off is rly something else. No one around me understands the love i hv for this drama 🥲
Their relationship was so unique that it automatically commanded respect from the viewers. Its actually so difficult to portray something like this on celluloid scale, like one mistake and their bond would have been tainted or looked sexualised but here, it was literally perfect. The amount of care and emotional attachment they harboured for the other. Fantastic. This show will stay for long in our hearts. Worth the rave reviews and ratings and all the appreciation.

She's really good in there and recieve good reviews because of her acting in Cannes Film Festival. Some viewers predict she'll win the Best Actress award. Tho she didnt win but her co actor song kang ho wins Best actor. And the movie recieves many awards from different film festival. It's just so good. It's her debut film

Nothing I can say, and wanna say, has not been said before about this drama...the most human drama I’ve ever seen, a journey of Hope. The simplicity of the sincere raw human relations will lift you heart, they will make you cry, will hug your soul and take you by the hand... The casting is spectacular! Lee Sun Kyun and IU deserve special recognition...their eyes just stare at your soul. Spectacular masterpiece! I envy those, who are are about to start it.
What makes this movie even sadder is because it is somehow related to IU's real life, before IU's father has a debt and IU was not really a trainee before but she was force to pay his father's debt buy some guys and to think that IU grew up with her grandma, imagine how hard it is for her and now she is one of the respected showbiz personality is the Korea.
This is the kind of love when you know there is always someone is there for you. You don’t need anything physical, not even mental, this kind of love is spiritual. She was empty, he was empty. They were whole together. They never really talked but share everything through their eye contact. They were trustful to each other and sometimes these are all someone can ask for..

My wife is a wonderful Filipina, and she got me interested in Korean films. I found this one by accident, and I agree with so many of the comments already made. I, also, was unaware that IU was a huge Kpop artist. The first episode hooked me. I was drawn to the plot, the settings, the relationships between the characters. Also, the music just pierced me as I watched. This drama is one of a kind. I can understand why it won awards. I am haunted by this, in a very emotional way. Fantastic from start to end. BRAVO!

When I wrote in the comment box about this drama one year ago, never in my worst of thoughts did I imagine that I will find Lee Sun-Kyun dead after one year later, as of today, 3rd January, 2024, six days after his death . And now, because his death, caused by substance abuse, this song hits differently.
Rest in peace, Sun-Kyun. Wish you and Matthew Perry didn't have to leave so early.

@@rkvw7608 Korean series are quite popular in India too. And Indian series also span a lot of genres. It's just that the stuff that sells commercially well is only the romcom kind and tends to get promoted more. Like My mister, another series very popular among my Indian friends is Stranger.
The best kdrama I've ever watched
I wholeheartedly love this kdrama ....a different kind of relationship between a kind man and a young woman. Each one has different kind of love for each other but it helped them find a happy path to their future.

The acting the characters the plot - the story is heart wrenching where you cry and laugh with the characters!!! How they captured trivial things, display of affection, how one finds solace in listening to the other person's breath footsteps ... It was heart wrenching, an emotional roller coaster

I was so reluctant to watch this series but this is possibly the best drama I have seen in a very long time. It’s so deep, emotional...it’s really something.
My wife is a wonderful Filipina, and she got me interested in Korean films. I found this one by accident, and I agree with so many of the comments already made. I, also, was unaware that IU was a huge Kpop artist. The first episode hooked me. I was drawn to the plot, the settings, the relationships between the characters. Also, the music just pierced me as I watched. This drama is one of a kind. I can understand why it won awards. I am haunted by this, in a very emotional way. Fantastic from start to end. BRAVO!
I also had no idea who "IU" was. Fantastic movie performance. As I don't follow IU's music, she is an actress in my mind.
