I'm leaving a comment for future viewers, My Mister is a kind of drama one should watch at least once. People who think it's a boring drama or not worth watching must be still in the teenage era or have a smooth life without going through any rock bottom. When you're in your twenties and life shows you all of the dark colors dramas like this hit differently. May we all find our sunshine at the end of a long journey.

My Mister is one of the best kdrama I watched to date, and I watched my fair share of kdrama. It's sad, it didn't get the attention and recognition it deserved. It takes you through all the emotions, heart-wrenching, soothing, peaceful every one of them. Hope more people start watching it.

Everytime I'm watching a My Mister related video, I get so sad when seeing the Grandma. I can't imagine how hard it must be for her to see her grandchild struggle so much, the helplessness, their desperate situation... I bawled so hard when she died. This drama really touched me deeply, and even til this day, I haven't really moved on from it. I kinda wanna watch it all over again but I just cannot bring myself to do it.

Just finished watching the drama/movie. Wow, my heart hurts a little when I think about it. It was truly touching and inspirational. If you are deciding whether or not to watch it, please do! Although it's not your typical love story, it will keep you on your toes. Just make sure to have a box of tissues nearby. I have never cried so much with a drama before! Lol But it does have its very funny moments especially with the brothers. I honestly love it so much and do not regret having watched it one bit. Highly recommend.

The show is Sooo Good I had to keep rewinding the vlog. Just because I couldn't stay focused on the text. The video kept pulling my eyes to the drama unfolding onscreen. The lyrics are nearly as wonderful as the show, the combination superb.

@Young Young I got yer back, bro! My wife is Filipina, and she was screaming at the TV whenever the Bad Guys got away with something Bad. Crying rivers when one of the Good Guys got hurt. I was a jerk, totally, for only letting a few silent tears fall, at the "worst' moments. My shoulders still hurt from her shots. The Lady can get emotional... Never would have happened to me at your age, but at 70, when we first watched the show, I found my iceberg soul had a bit of a meltdown. My advice to you is: don't see it again at my age without flood insurance!

I cried watching it at the age of 53...
There are people like Dong Hoon who just keeps their problems to themselves, and the scene that broke my heart was when his brothers knew about his wife’s affair. That all this time, behind those smiles, their brother is hurting and that pains them too. Like they want to take all the heaviness from his heart and the older brother even resented himself because of it. Aside from the platonic love between Jian and Dong Hoon, I love the brotherly love among the three.

I just finished watching My Mister. My heart is so heavy. I can feel their struggles in life. I can feel their pain. I cried so hard when Sang-hoon (brother of Dong-hoon) spent his money for Ji-an's grandmother funeral. I learned a lot of lessons in this kdrama. It was so inspiring. This drama is indeed a masterpiece. I hope I can move on soon. And I want to watch another kdrama like this.
This was my fav too. It is just so touching for someone who is practically a stranger to spend all that he had painfully saved for another person. And IU just nailed her character in this drama. Darn good actress
I don't think you can find any series like this. I watched so many and nothing compares My Mister.
Well, some of them also good. Some should not even produced because they're really bad.
Reply 1988 and Signal is a great series too.
Others like Crashed landing on you, It's okay not to Ok, Descendants of the sun, Live up to your name, Flower of evil, Itaewon Class, Prison Playbook, Hospital playlist are all good series with notes. Many says that Mr Sunshine is a great series but for me it's too slow, it's just not for me (I finished them anyway).

Los Angeles Netflix viewer here. Just want to second all the kudos for the show. I watched it after "Hotel Del Luna" because of IU. I think it's a masterpiece of world cinema. It is honest, tough, heartbreaking but ultimately hopeful. It also confirmed, at least to me, that IU is on of the most amazing talents today, able to convey such emotional depth with her songs and her acting. I'm simply in awe of her. I will never forget how much this show touched my heart.

One of the best K drama, make my heart tear
I always come back to see different edits of this song when I feel low. This drama is like a den in a dark forest which looks sad and scarier from outside believe me if you go through that den you will come out with smile and able to see the brightness on the other side . That's what I felt when I watched it. I loved how many characters where able to breathe and feel free after letting out all the feelings, desires, pain they swallowed all those years at the end.

It only missed eros, which would have completely wrecked the show if they had gone there. AS is, we have a masterpiece.

Omg the lyrics❤ My Mister has been one of the kdrama on my watchlist for a long time. I kept delaying it cuz i had this feeling it was a sad drama, i finished my last episode 10mins back & omg this song hits so hard. All of the kdramas that i have watched are either about love, relationships, breakups, revenge. But this drama has relationships that are beyond one's understanding, and you can only feel it when u see it. Some of the intense emotional scenes were really hard to imagine the pain people feel, the feeling when u have everything yet nothing. Gr8 acting👍 Kudos to the writer

I actually felt the feeling of the director brother when he saw a movie that he cant continue watching, due to the miserable characters, but then he picked it up and tried to watch it again and was glad he made the decision...I also love IU & Lee Sun Gyun /Kyun :P. and this beautiful song. I agree with almost everyone here that it's one of the best out there and is definitely worth rewatching :) This definitely became my new favorite. :)
