As I usually do I already have plans for this property. Rent out the home and one of the barns/garages. Convert the tater barn to two living units. Use that for personal use. It’s easy when you have excess money like me. Oh wait, I was dreaming again that I had money. 😢
Cool property. I like to guess the listing price based on the initial description and I was $250k low for this one. I've been getting pretty good at guessing lately, and my first thought when I scrolled down to see the list price, was wow, that seems overpriced. As I watched the video/tour and saw, 1 - garage (OK that's more than I expected) and then 2 - even bigger tractor barn (Oh wow, so that explains the price) and then 3 - the potato barn (damn this place is a great deal!). It was a great little journey. This is the first property I have seen that really has too much space in the out buildings. I have no idea what we'd do with it all.
These folks were neighbors of Steve and Polly Powell who were very close family friends . The green point conservation was owned by the Powell’s -I know every piece of that land -very special .
Taxes, for now, are $5k annually to keep the road plowed. Mechanical services or maybe storage could make sense for the outbuildings. Otherwise, I love the house, I love the frontages and the lot size. Good luck with this one.
Wish I saw the price first… I could have not wasted so much of my time. I will slide to the last couple minutes next view… to make sure I don’t have to be a millionaire to afford a property before I spend time viewing it. Thanks anyway…
