It is a very under rated jersey. I used to not like it too much (mostly because I loved the original away jersey and wanted a home jersey that matched it), but over time my feelings for the Senagoth has faded and now that I own one I quite like it. I don't think Ottawa has a truly bad jersey even the maligned "SENS" jersey is nice in person. I think Ottawa's jerseys tend to get slept on.
@@Gabriel_Rojas_Arena the ads on helemts were fine, but on jerseys, they just ruined the flow of the design, and now we are going to a less quality of material for jersey, i dont know if im gonna buy jerseys unless they prove that they can make a jersey that is as good of quality as adidas or even ccm or reebok…

Ottawa really has some great jerseys! I actually think the Habs have THE hockey jersey history as outside of the original barber poll (that is a massive eyesore sorry Habs fans) they really don't need to experiment as it is already perfect. My only wish is they bring back the 2005-2006 White Alternate jersey with the blue and red stripes in the middle. I love that jersey, but they're so hard to find. Even as an alternate I'd be extremely pleased as even this Sens fan knows perfection when I see it and that alternate was perfection on ice.
I own a Reebok authentic of that one (they're rare as they were only made between 05-07), and it is a wonder in person! amazing colors and the "Vegas" sparkle on the gold is chef's kiss! I don't wear it often as it is a goalie cut (it is a Hasek) so it looks massive on me, but it is one of the treasures in my collection.
I own two (one blank and one Karlsson) and it's fine. I'd personally have it in the middle of the pack. But, if you changed the silver O to a black one, then I think it would be an amazing jersey!
He goes back and forth between making these types of videos. He does a few teams and then takes several months off to focus on other types of videos and comes back to make more of these videos.
Huh... Neil I love you but, practice jersey for the "Sens" jersey? Not sure what that means friend, I'd describe that as busy or gaudy before a practice jersey which tend to be plain one color pieces.
@@fantasticvoyage262 kinda a weird line though. I've seen jerseys that actually look like practice jerseys (Detroit's first RR) so it felt like a weird line. As I said you can criticize the jersey for legit design issues like the odd stripping, the amount of different conflicting design elements. Practice jersey to me if he meant it that way feels like an inability to articulate. Not saying it was, but if what you're saying is true it's a cop out.

Like the designer had four different ideas they wanted to do and smashed them all together. Over designed jerseys tend to be due to over ambition rather than laziness. Think the Pooh bear jersey, it is over designed to hell and back, I'd be hard pressed to call the design lazy. The Sens jersey does look like a minor league jersey, which means it looks amateurish, the composition is weak and it is just busy. That is a very different catch word criticism that fits better.

I found the one from 2:15 at a thrift store, the gold accents are beautiful in person. Was one of my favorite jerseys.

The black alternate with the gold / red for 2000-2007 is my favourite, followed by the 100 classic and in the third is the black 'O' jersey.
Personally my favourite is the gold trimmed jersey they looked way better than that file pic gives credit too.

Just noticed the RR 1.0 actually uses the inaugural logo and not the current. It's got red accents in that weird wooshy wingy thing and not gold
