No I don’t think that’s possible because once the Wii U is factory resetting, it also deletes the paired controllers synced to the Wii U console. Unless you decide to use them again, you will need to re-sync them after that.

If i have cfw? Am i still able to do this without brickin the console?
It depends on your CFW, but do check online as I believe you do need to remove CFWs before formatting.
