You mentioned the hair conditioner as a body moisturizer and I thought I'd mention my "secret" use for conditioner. I have used hair conditioner for 30+ years to shave my legs. I buy inexpensive brands, and it leaves my legs soft and moisturized.
I always get excited when I get a notification that you have a new video. You are such a joy.

My tip, add lotion to your tanner before applying! I use half of each in my palm, just rub it in skin and there is no drying of your skin, the smell is less and the tanner will spread and absorb much easier! I find using the lotion with the tanner causes less streaking and doesn't stain your
    hands!

As a 56 year old sun-fanatic, who has experienced melanoma, I still love a good tan. I've found that Loving Tan 2 Hour Express Tanning Mousse works amazing...it keeps me out of the sun while feeling like I can still rock that 80's tan.

Just love you Dominique. I am 58 and remember very well the baby oil and iodine phase. Sitting in my backyard with a record album covered with aluminum foil. Can't forget the lemon juice in my hair..what were we thinking...Anyway I just purchased a great product from QVC called minetan. It's a tanning mist sprayer. So natural and the color is fabulous. No smell at all. Also very moisturizing as the product contains coconut water. From Australia I think.
    Another great video... Thanks susan!

I love the self-tanner glow too! Here are my two favorite bargain and high-end options. Nature's Gate Organic Glow Lotion in Medium $15 for 18 fl oz and Tan-Luxe Sleep Oil $49 for .68 oz (gulp, but you can apply it before bed and your skin looks and feels amazing by morning!). I've been using the Nature's Gate for years, but I'm approaching 50 and my skin on my lower legs has become incredibly dry. It takes forever to build up color on my legs now because I have to pack on the extra moisturizer...which dilutes the tan. CURSES! So, I do the Sleep Oil once a week, then the Glow Lotion every three days. Working well so far. Thanks for the tips Dominique - learning so much from you and this entire group!

A tip for applying self tanner to the hands and feet. I use a big, soft make up brush. I just spray my self tanner (very sparingly) on my brush and carefully brush on the self tanner. It's great for between the fingers and toes!! ❤️ you!!!!

I've used Jergens but it's blotchy even when exfoliated, smells bad too. St Tropez for years and love it, one of the best. Very even tan, and you don't have to exfoliate before. The only thing is it's a bit tacky feeling, like most of them. My latest favorite is FakeBake. Drys fast, no tackiness and so easy to apply with the mitt. I've tried also Josie Marian oil but even with my fair skin doesn't give me enough color.

St.Tropez extra dark and Loving Tan ultra dark both in mousse and I use a tanning mitt with my applications. They are both so natural and dark...of course there’s lighter shades I just prefer the dark but it’s not too dark either and buildable if someone wants it to be super dark. The mousse is the best streak free easy to guide putting it on and fast drying not sticky like the creams ....I always leave my formula on over night to get the fullest effect and I’m not wearing it while I’m busy during the day.

Jergen's also makes a product called Wetglow which is a moisturizer that you put on before you dry off from the shower. The color develop quickly and lasts until your next shower, so the one downfall, it's not buildable. But it's a great way to start off with self-tanning if you've never used a self-tanner and you want to try a product without a lot of commitment.

I just wore a sun dress to a wedding and was very happy with the color on my legs and arms. It's lasts about 4-5 days without reapplying and looks very natural. The glove is an easy way to apply and is worth the investment. It lasts forever.

Loving tan is the best on the market. I only get a week of coverage. I leave it on 3 to 4 hours instead of 2.. that just works best for my skin and desired results. I also apply it with a stiff foundation brush versus the mitt. It just gets into the skin deeper.I love this, it is the only one I will purchase.

I have used Bare Escentuals Faux Tan for about 15 years. LOVE it! I get the 16 oz bottle (when it's offered) from QVC. (Have also seen it offered on eBay) and that bottle will literally last me about 5+ years. It gives instant color, and also deposits color, so I only use it about twice a week. It does have a bit of that funky smell, but not bad, and the color is very natural. I have never been asked what kind of a self-tanner I use. I have been told "You need to stay out of the sun" though!

Love your channel and just turned my sister on to it, thanks! I like the St. Tropez Self Tan Classic. I use it how you suggest but put Vaseline on the palms of my hands or avoid the can suntan hand mess. Then I found the Swan Mist body mitt which comes with the hand mitt and 2 finger mitts for face and hands. I love it! Thanks for your beauty tips. I’m 57 and loving life!

Loved your review on the self tanners. I have been using St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse for the past several weeks and have found this one to work the best for me. This does not turn my skin orange as some of the others I have used did. Not sure if you have ever used this one, thought I'd mention it.

I have loved St Tropez also. But the last tube I got had to be a different formula. It was darker and almost more watery. It went on splotchy and just looked awful. When I tried to re-order the comments agreed with my assessment and said they have changed the formula. Have you found this to be true also?

I’ve been a big fan of Lancôme Flash Bronzer for many years. It just gives an incredible, warm, natural looking tan. I receive so many compliments on it when people find out its a self tanner. It’s a bit pricey since it’s Lancôme but so worth it, and it will pretty much last me the whole season. They make a formula for the body and just for the face (but you can use the body one on your face too).

Totally agree with Dominique Jergens are great. I used the ones recommended, they are fab especially BB Glow. I would say the Mousse is great too but there's no bronzer to show where you've applied so you have to be a confident self tanner.....not a phrase I ever thought I'd hear myself using!! May I be so bold as to recommend Bondi Sands spray a self tanning mist it'll have your back, literally and metaphorically as an aerosol I used dark coconut scent 😍x

Thank you for another amazing video and information on self tanners. I have been liking the L'Oréal tan wipes and can get by with using it once a week once I have achieved the color I like. There is no smell and looks very natural on me. I have a light complexion. Some of the Jergens self tanners give me a irritating rash. Also, you might try using a clarifying shampoo to wash with all over your skin to remove any oils your body may hold on to before applying self tanners. This tip was given to me by a professional for the stars.

LT isn't worth it. I ordered the express version before I went to Hawaii in March because of all the YTers that raved about it. I personally had no color after the two hour wear time and rinse off. And I mean none and I'm pale. I did seem to develop some color after 24 hours, but very minimal. If you watch YTers, they show extreme color after the two hour period.

I've been told we need to check out the Younique sunless tanner...slightly less expensive but still a super nice color...and you can mix it with lotion if desired!
