When doing this style with the straightener i have thick hair that doesnt really hold a curl. The curl usually stays in for about 5 mins. Do u have any tips that can help me?

There isn’t any style, color, length of hair that doesn’t flatter you. You’re so talented.. I’d definitely burn myself using this particular iron lol. It’s challenging enough with my normal T3. So fashionable, love it. My hair was down my back about half way to waist I took the plunge last week and went to my stylist and had my hair cut off into a very short pixie on sides (over ears) and lower back. He left the top and crown quite a bit longer, reminds me of your hairstyle when it was much shorter. So far, I love it. But i almost cried watching this video. I realized all the clips and decorative tools I can't use now. BUT, I made the choice and so far, I've really enjoyed styling it. Since it's longer on top, I bought a BaBliss Mini Flat Iron and it's amazing what I can do with it. Today I was totally curled on top and crown - and blended it into the very short using wax. I didn't brush it, everything was done with my fingers. I received a lot of compliments, so that made me happy. Just letting you know, I bought several of the WOW products and I'm in love with them. Expensive, but as short as my hair is it should last me a loooong time! lol Take care and be SAFE Dominique. Ive seen a lot of great products just at the supermarket, its great the natural range these days. Essano is one of them, Im not sure where you are but maybe you could have a look next time youre at the shops!

Did this yesterday. Much easier than the vertical beach wave technique. Went out Saturday night and got tons of compliments! Thank you for the new technique. Ooh, also, today at the nail salon, the owner had long wavy hair, with a beautiful hair clip holding her hair back to one side. I'm IN!

I just have to let you know. I hate messing with my hair..as you can see by my pic. However somehow watching you enjoy styling your hair motivates me! I even went out and bought velcro rollers and use that technique for lift. Cant wait to try the old Hollywood look.
