Hi Lucy! I’ve just started a AWS cloud practitioner course on Udemy! I am a complete beginner as I’m trying to change my life! I’m struggling at the moment trying to memorise everything.
Great video! I'm in exactly the position you describe - just passed my CCP exam and am feeling good but have no real practical experience with AWS and my current job doesn't use it. Going to take a look at Immersion Day!
Thanks for the video. I took couple of AWS certifications (even when my current role is not cloud related), and have been looking into ways to improve my knowledge with tools that can simulate real world scenarios. This workshops are perfect, and will look into them.
Great Video Lucy. Thank for the resources you make us come to know. I am certain these projects will be of massive help as I prepare for my Solutions Architect exams

Hey Lucy! I love your videos! Thank you for taking the type and effort that helps out thousands of people. And I think making your own challenge would be awesome! Ex: resume cloud challenge.
Hi Lucy, love your content! I acturally watched a lot of your recent videos, and one questions poped on my mind is: do you suggest study Associate solutions architect exam first (gain more knowledge on specific use cases on certain AWS services), or do you think hands on projects are more important? I gained my CCP on Dec 2022. Thank you!
I haven’t, but my sister has - she found it helpful. It’s basically gamified learning that helps to understand the concepts to pass the CCP certification 😊
Hey Lucy Thank you very much for all your help. Please I have a question, I’m trying to do aws api gateway project, I’m stuck cause it’s not working on my end when I run the command at the 3rd step , I don’t know if it’s me or if someone has encountered the same problem. Do really need your help. Thanks
Hi Lucy. Good afternoon. Could you let me know how I can acquire "the team hash" to participate in the AWS General Immersion Day Workshop? Thank for your help.
After learning the fundamentals of AWS can I do the hands-on from the resources you shared? Or do I need any technical knowledge before going to do hands-on? Because I'm completely from a non-tech background. Please suggest
hey Lucy! I have a question for you, what do you think would be the best way to present our aws projects? Lets say I build a wordpress website using elastic beanstalk and rds, how do I put that on my resume or show evidence that I did it?
By listing it on your resume. Read the description of exactly WHAT your going to be doing then word it onto your resume. For example: on my I have “AWS EC2” then in bullets format I listed a few things I’ve done… one reading: “ • Launched an EC2 instance according to user’s requirements across different availability zones for high availability”

Thank you Lucy, how can I access the FREE course for hand -on
This is what I needed, hands-on. Honestly I'm afraid I'll pass the certification exam but being able to build nothing.
Yep certifications are multiple choice exams so it’s important to also spend time building 😄
Copy that 👌
Great content Lucy! Could you also make a video to talk about some larger AWS projects that could take several days to complete? Thanks!
Good idea! Will add to list of video suggestions 😄
Adrian cantrill has the hands down best AWS courses and projects, they will help you get tons of hands on experience.
You are really helpful to get hands on based learning resources. Could you please check some other resources for big data projects
Mentioned 2nd resource portal is not opening

Hi Lucy, How Aws SAA certificate will help a career restarter??
I saw that AWS now has "Cloud Quest". Is that hands on stuff as well? Have you done it before?
I haven’t, but my sister has - she found it helpful. It’s basically gamified learning that helps to understand the concepts to pass the CCP certification 😊
Usefull video
Glad it helps!

Hi Lucy. Good afternoon. Could you let me know how I can acquire "the team hash" to participate in the AWS General Immersion Day Workshop? Thank for your help.
You will have to use the other option of using your own aws account - not the event engine / team hash option
Hey lucy I have one question for you Aos Note projects are production environment level or just for learning means beginner level..?
After learning the fundamentals of AWS can I do the hands-on from the resources you shared?
Or do I need any technical knowledge before going to do hands-on?
Because I'm completely from a non-tech background. Please suggest
The hands-on resources don’t have strong prerequisites. It’s helpful to have some previous IT knowledge - but you can fill in the gaps along the way 🙌
@@TechwithLucy that's great. To develop IT skills can I start with Python, Doing that would be a great idea. Or any other opinion

Hi Guys if I may ask a stupid question. What is the best way to present one of these projects to a potential employer? Any advise will be appreciated
