I was at this hotel in April, it's fantastic, not only the facilities but the people, the food was great, especially the buffet, there was everything at will... the a la carte restaurants, I really didn't like it very much, but it's not this bad .. I recommend it ..🤩🤩

If you'd like to extend your vacation
Was there 2 years ago. Never been to Cuba and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Room smelled like sewer; toilet would gurgle in the middle of the night; didn't get a beach towel until 3rd day (didn't have enough for all guests); never got to taste their pizza (apparently, if you're lucky enough to get one, they're delish!) cause every time I went up for lunch, they were out of dough; half the lunch menu was not available daily. Made a mistake and took a cab to town, only to get swindled by merchants at a local market! Now I can say I've been to Cuba.....

Do you agree with a low quality buffet at this hotel?
No, I thought the food was great, very Cuban. Also there was do frigging much of it, he was late when he went to eat. I bet the final hour when they stop putting out fresh trays. He is wrong about low quality.
I always eat well at MJDR . So far I spend there 10 weeks in total and always find plenty of fruit, veggies, meat , carbs. Also watching the video it didn't look like there's no choice.

Lo que no me gusta de éstos resort es que están ubicados todos en el monte. Fuera de las instalaciones no ves más que monte. No hay avenidas ni comercios a donde ir. Es todo muy subrealista. Intentan vendérnoslo como el paraíso, pero eso está a quilómetros de la realidad.
Went there in March and it was awful .......toilets didnt work .......no cold water to take showers ......no menu to let you know what they serve for drinks .......rooms smelt like shit ......got big bug bits ....never go back
Food is the very big let down of this resort. It does not have any taste, no spices, no flavor. Most of the pastries are simply empty with some white sugar over them. The A la carte cuban restaurant is serving cold food from the buffet... The beach is beautiful and pools are clean tho
For the price.. It was ok, but yes, not the best buffet in 🇨🇺
No where is the best anywhere in any place in any country so going by that standard is silly. The food there was great, and there was plenty of it. Calling it low quality is incorrect.
@@DanaMueller649 It's hard to judge other people's comment since simply by looking at the pictures in many reviews you can see that the food changes. Maybe when you went they actually cared and gave a much better selection and quality. The huge let down seems to be the lack of constancy. They can't keep a certain standard. One day we had 4 kinds of great cheese and the other day only one sort.
lf you want the real story here it is .just came back from this resort the food was shit the same shit every day .the staff looked very unhappy the rooms were all right old and outdated beach was the best thing there.just stay away from this place for a 5 star resort it sucks .
