Hi @Antarctica, your comment caught my eye given your location. I just picked up rx350h black/macadamia in San Diego where we have one dealership and a couple more if you go to the next towns away. I have been looking to fly into Atlanta and make the drive up to Chattanooga to check out the area as we are in search of the next place to move that isn't completely blown out and back into one of the lower cost of living spaces, I spent my prior years in Washington State. I'm curious does Chattanooga have a Lexus dealership / service center or do you end up have to go to Atlanta or Knoxville for that? Do you have nearby Smokey mountains adventure hiking or biking spots where the electric AWD of rx350h comes in handy?
@@myusrn Chattanooga has a very nice Lexus dealer, google Lexus of Chattanooga for more information. Smokey mountains are close by with tons of stuff to do. Good luck in your search.
@@myusrn Chattanooga has a wonderful dealership, just google Lexus of Chattanooga. Smokey mountains are fairly close and there is a ton of stuff to do. Hope you can check the area out.
I just finish about 1500 mi round road trip ,my Lady ,she performed beautifully! I was not wore out either ! Adaptive CC wow and when I was in traffic it stopped and go my goodness! Love my Lex !
Dustin, enjoy your reviews. I own a 2024 RX350h Premium+ trim. In this video you mention that the proactive drive assist along with Adaptive cruise control will stop you if the car in front stops. I use the proactive driving assist but not the adaptive cruise control while in the city. Can I turn it on even at low speeds? Wish the proactive drive assist brought you to a stop alone. That would be a great safety feature. Keep up the good work!
I have a 2024 RX 450H+ with same options. Yea, you can turn on the Adaptive Cruise Control after just hitting 20mph, but it will warn you that there are some parts of city driving that it may not be available, like certain on-ramps and off-ramps or parking lots. I also dont recommend using Adaptive Cruise Control in city driving bc it WILL IGNORE red stop lights- which is super dangerous. Differently, the Proactive Drive Assist sensitivity is adjustable and is safe to use in City and Highway, but it will not come to complete stop… at least not from my experience.
A few weeks ago I purchased an RX 350 Premium Plus gas. Due to creaking and squeaking noise in the interior of the cabin when driving, I had to take it back for that issue to be addressed. I was given an RX 350h loaner for 3 days. I did not like it. I found the motor of the 350h to be noisier inside the cabin vs. my gas RX. My RX issue has been addressed and I love the quietness of the car. Without a question, the RX 350 is a beautiful car overall!
Dustin, do you put regular gas in that 350h? I have one too and the Lexus website says it should take 91 or higher. But I think in one of the videos I saw you do you said it could take regular. Which is it?
Good job - Enjoyable video, but if the F SPORT isn't 100% gas powered with Mark Levingston 21 speakers, I won't buy. Call me old fashion, but I am what I am.
Great review Dustin. I need some advice. I have the RX350h. Based in Czech Republic and the trim is Executive Plus, which is the trim right below the highest (Luxury) so it's very well equipped. What I'm DISAPPOINTED about is the quality of the seats. At 5,000km, I started noticing 'butt imprints'. Now it's 6 months old at 14k and the imprints look worse than some older RXes w/ more than 200k km on it. I take care of my car delligently and weigh 55kg. Brought it back to dealer and the service rep said it's normal and completely ignored my concern. Kept saying that's how leather works. I said we had the older 2016 RX w/ 170k km and the seats are in pristine condition w/o imprints; didn't care. He said it's not a manufacture defect but they can replace the upholstery and the underseat material if I insist, but the parts won't be as good as the materials from the factory, and that if something like this happen again, warranty won't cover it. I'm sad because I love the car (look, driving dynamics, fuel economy, great step in height, comfort, you name it) and want to keep it for years, but I can't imagine what the seats will look like when the car reaches 100k km. What would you do in this situation? Thanks
btw, I have the mid tier leather seat, which is one level above the Nulux and a level below semi aniline in the same color (called peanut color in this market)
Ive had a rx350h executive pack for over one year now, 16 months to be exact and around 155000 kms in it. Coming from a 2017 rx executive as well, i have to say the interiors materials on the 2017 were higher quality, especially on the console. I had nice glossy wood and now i have plastic wood with fake wood patterns, also a lot of manufactures are going with the piano glossy plastic which gets pretty dusty. The new technology compared to the old generation is 1000 times better i have to admit. The 2.4 turbo engine lacks of power compares to the old v6 but i knew that when i bought the car. The hybrid system does save a lot of money on gas for sure. I am very happy with the car, (i was debating between an MDX, Cx-90, pathfinder and Pilot) i just wish they would have kept a bit better material quality in the interior.
I'm glad to hear you are very happy with it even with a few improvements you've pointed out! I think there will be some upgrades over the next few years!
We had a 2018 and 2022 RX 350 Ultra Lux Package, and now 2024 RX 450H+ Ultra Lux package. The 450H+ has the real open pore wood panels which is still really nice, but I do prefer the gloss dark red wood on my previous two cars. In my opinion, I wouldn’t say the interior lu has gone down (at least not for the 450H+ Lux package), but there are pros and cons between the newer model and outgoing models. For example, wish they kept a v6 hybrid variant, or why they completely removed the auto dim on the passenger mirrors??
Yes great question! Firstly make sure you don't have the screen protector on it! It's almost impossible to see however most dealers (including myself) miss it when removing all the plastics! Then I usually use a gently microfiber and a gentle screen cleaner. Similar to what you would use on a flatscreen TV! The key is to make sure you fold the microfiber so that the edges don't touch the screen too!
Hello Dustin, I ordered a new Lexus RX500h at the end of September, I am still waiting for the vehicle to be delivered to the dealer (scheduled for December 2024) My question is: Do you think it will be possible to replace the 2023/2024 type MID display with the new 2025 type full digital display? Don't you know if the connectors for connecting the 2023/2024 version displays are the same as in version 2025? Thank you.
Should I be looking for a 2025 RX350 or are the upgrades for the new model year not changed enough that a 2024 RX350 would be just as good? will I be missing out on anything important?
Love my 2020 RX and really do like the look of the 2023+ models but two things bother me… 1. Give us the v6 back PLEASE 2. Interior style while attractive still looks older than other brands like Genesis. Even the new 2025 Nissan Murano has a more stylish less dated looking interior. 😢
Thanks for the reply, since I got your attention, I have a ‘24 350h…does using premium unleaded fuel improve fuel economy in terms of L/100kms and range? I’ve been using regular gas and getting an average of 6.2L/100km and a range of 850km Thanks Dustin

Another mistake almost all car dealers are dealing with that . Anyways, we’ll see what 2026 brings probably will go worse and better not to sound negative but these car dealers are looking at environmental BS instead of what the customers really want .. I may be wrong, but I believe the only V8 you can get from Lexus now is in the 2025IS 350 Which sad to say, has all the old technology in it makes no sense . Thanks
Glad it didn’t get stolen yet. Plz advise how can we prevent it getting stolen in 9 seconds with relay attack and sleep peacefully at night parking it on driveway.
Update your vehicles at Irish markets too ; Anyway Toyota dealers are ditching the brand day to day; Not even a descent seven seater is available to compete the market ;pathetic
I am surprised that any of your corporations are open. The majority of them should have been shut down. That includes Audi, Toyota, Chevy, GMC, Tesla, VW as well as USAA. It would have been nice if the Corporate world would have donated to me.(and Alexia if she was home with me) and the 3-4children I still want have as well as any grand children.
@@juanmateus8560 I checked - it has 29.6 cubic feet of storage with all seats up and a max of 46.19 cubic feet with seats folded. Not only is that not "pretty big for a midsize," it's well below most compact SUVs. For example, my CX-5 is small compared to other compact SUVs, but it has 59.6 cubic feet of storage with the seats folded. So the midsize RX 350 has massively less cargo space than the CX-5. Crazy. I might give it a look, but I think that's a deal breaker.
Great video, thank you. My 2024 RX 350h Premium+ is in transit to Chattanooga, TN and now I’m even more excited.
Congrats, enjoy it!! After a test drive I was hooked and now i am waiting for dealership locate this exact model.

On the inside of your gas tank lid, it will tell you exactly the minimum grade gas to use.
hmmm...good video! I how do you get the RX to say welcome and your name....I can't seem to get it to work.
