I totally appreciate what you do on this channel because Lexus has been one of my dream cars for years. I'm super close to finally go purchase one soon and all the information given has helped me narrow down what I am looking for and what I want before I even walk into a dealership.
YES!!! I'm going to buy a used LS500 or IS500 in the Fall. If the RX350 has a Twin Turbo V6, it would definitely be in the running! But, I'm not buying a 4 cylinder. I'm just not. Thanks for your great videos!
I purchased a 2021 RX350L because I didn’t want a turbo 4 that requires expensive premium fuel. The normally aspirated engine will far outlast a turbo.
Why Lexus changed to 4-cylinder from the very much reliable and preferred by customers V6 VVTi engine, especially working just in great symbiosis with advanced eCVT on demand transmission for 450h and AWD top of the RX line? And the answer provided is a quite a general statement without going to details. For example, users already reported how the 4-cylinder is troubled climbing mountain even smooth curving mountain highways? Second, the explanation that “recommended” premium gasoline doesn’t mean that regular gasoline cannot be used and without any problem vs. “required” wording like with most turbo even smaller engines is not valid for RX V6 engine used many years until most recently. Yes, regular gasoline can be used without any engine problems with 450h AWD top of the RX line for the very same reason the viewer explained.
Toyota/Lexus discontinued the highly reliable six cylinder engine and went to a four-cylinder NOT to improve MPG but rather to comply with government emissions standards.
I have an NX450h+ and am soon to take a long trip and park it at the airport for a month. Any thoughts on precautions I might take to ensure it starts when we return? Great channel, thanks
The V6 story, I don't miss it even a tiny bit. I got my RX 350h 2024, it performs as strong as my 2020 RX 350 gas V6. No struggling, no nothing. Simply smooth and power.
Hybrid is the one to get for this generation, proven naturally aspirated engine vs new turbo 4 on the 350… wish we can get lower trim plug in 450h in Canada at lower price point
The fact that Lexus is tied to Toyota is its biggest plus. The overwhelming majority of car buyers that have not been brainwashed by car branding and marketing appreciate Toyota’s excellence and Lexus takes that up even further. Lately however even Toyota is no longer looks invincible and with the downsizing/tubroizing of every vehicle in the lineup reliability is becoming questionable. Only time will tell but Lexus being one of the best selling brands in history is due to a great deal of customers appreciating its quality, durability and reliability. Additionally, no one takes so called online car reviewers seriously. TH-cam car reviewers are for a bunch of 15yr olds. Car reviewers getting press cars to drive around for two days and out review each other by saying the same thing doesn’t align with the taste and preference of most car buyers. Lexus excels at making very comfortable and quietly luxurious cars. That can never be quantified by a TH-cam car reviewer whose desperate to grow his channel 😂
How can we get a larger shift knob? Is there a replacement to the tiny shift knobs that they have in the newer models? I like the feel on the shifter in the older models. The new one feels like a nub. Also, you want your hand to rest on it sometimes.
If you need some additional support… Shout out to “Scotty Kilmer” for recognizing the quality of the Canadian Lexus Assembly Plant in Cambridge, ON on the same level as their Japanese counterparts.
Mine was made in Canada, and the steering wheel is off-center and I have the sagging dash trim piece that the early build models had. So much for "quality".
What is your opinion on the tx 350 have they gotten the bugs out of it is it safe to purchase one yet does it have the quality of a Lexus I’ve driven one and I thought it had a lot of plastic in the interior for a Lexus
Excellent Q&A. There’s 2 things I would change from my RXh. 1. Air vents sit too low, I have difficulty setting them direct to my face. 2. Coming from Mazda, HUD has blind spot signal, this small feature really improves drivability. I miss that feature on my RXh :(
Whatever the sticker inside the gas cap says, you have to understand the way they program the ECU, if it says 93 gas then you have to use it because they 'tuned' it that way...
My days of buying a RX350 are forever and over and done with. Not only are they ugly but they no longer offer a six-cylinder engine and you couldn't pay me to have a 4-cylinder engine in a vehicle.. I knew this new CEO would ruin Lexus. The past CEO Mr Toyoda would have never allowed any of these changes and I hope Lexus suffers the consequences.
Don’t buy it with the mark levinson sound system!!!! It will shut off when you listen to any song with a strong bass, the only way to get it working again is to pull over and shut the vehicle and restart it
1)The 14 inch displays is really poor resolution not giving sharp images..the graphics/design is really like drawings produced by kindergarten kids..words for road names etc is so tiny that u won't be able to read without moving your eyes forward nearer to it.. 2) u don't even get wireless Android Auto with such a luxurious car 3) the emergency warning/braking only trigger when it's about 2 metre close to the front car..this is far less sensitive and much less effective than the Subaru Forester's system which responds when it's about 5 meters behind a front car.. These are my experiences with my RX350 I stand corrected and would like to hear your honest opinion on these..

Very interesting perspective between Japan and Canada manufacturing plants.

You're entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts. And you have no data whatsoever to prove your made-up claim.
I finally got my luxury hybrid and I am in love !

Why did lexus decide to use a bumper grill that looks like someone overprayed when painting the car?
According the specs the trunk size of Rx is even less than a Rav. Is that really true
Great job sir !
that giant front grill(look like shark head) need to redesign :)
When will the remedy will come out for the tx 😭😭

Love, my RX 350 I was under the impression it was made down in Kentucky?

I have the Nx350h luxury sport, and I would love to add a start picture on the head unit like my toyota Fortuner here in Australia, is it possible?

Dustin, when does the NX get a spare tire? I love the NX F SPORT but no spare tire is disappointing. 😢
Is Dustin single? 😌👀
4 cylinder engine are turbo charged lawn mower that will not last 50k mi.
Don't get the HUD and idiotic programmable steering wheel buttons. They are horrid.
Do you recommend or is it required using hi-test gas in my 2024 RX350H?
