I made a version of this recipe. I had a lot of leftover salsa verde from yesterday and I thought of this recipe. So I skipped the first part and just used my salsa hoping it would be fine. I pretty much followed everything else. My parents went NUTS! My mom who rarely enjoys my cooking said it was 10 out 10, best thing I ever made. My dad said I should make this again next week. That said they pretty much ignored the soup and just ate the tacos lol. I think they liked it cuz it had cheese and it was fried LOL. Can't go wrong with that combo.Thanks a bunch :)
I do a bunch of peppers on my grill... I love the Smoky flavor of them I do the same thing when I make a fire roasted salsa..I'll cook my peppers on the grill with some water soaked soaked oak, oh my gosh it's delicious and after I roast my peppers I'll let them smoke for a little while in my grill and you get that wonderful Smoky flavor. So delicious! I love how you use the stone...I started using an old one of mine..thanks for the Wonderful tip! It really makes a difference! ❤️

I pretty much followed everything else. My parents went NUTS! My mom who rarely enjoys my cooking said it was 10 out 10, best thing I ever made. My dad said I should make this again next week. That said they pretty much ignored the soup and just ate the tacos lol. I think they liked it cuz it had cheese and it was fried LOL. Can't go wrong with that combo.Thanks a bunch :)

I do a bunch of peppers on my grill... I love the Smoky flavor of them I do the same thing when I make a fire roasted salsa..I'll cook my peppers on the grill with some water soaked soaked oak, oh my gosh it's delicious and after I roast my peppers I'll let them smoke for a little while in my grill and you get that wonderful Smoky flavor. So delicious! I love how you use the stone...I started using an old one of mine..thanks for the Wonderful tip! It really makes a difference! ❤️
