Such a fun bop. So many fun bits, but my favorite part is Adam's "harmonica" solo. We hardly ever get to hear him sing, but he'll wail on air harmonica for half the song.
The HF guys have fabulous senses of humor which are clearly displayed here. They never take themselves too seriously. 😆 And Adam Rupp's vocal percussion & phantom harmonica are musical genius I have a difficult time getting my brain to compute... My family still argues that Home Free must use actual instruments--their harmonies are so incredibly unbelievable❣️
Yeah I love this. It’s an old Huey Lewis and the News song from the 80’s with scenes from the movie Anchorman thrown in. None of them were plugged in. Hahaha they’re nuts and that’s why I love them. They can be serious or silly but they always sound good. I loved Austin’s high notes and Adam’s harmonica playing (he did that in Man of Constant Sorrow too). Loved Tim chasing the go cart too. It was cracking me up. Great reaction Schnell.
Damn. There aren't enough adjectives for these men. Homfredian. They need their own. Adam needs one of his own, too, for his outrageous, otherworldly beat boxing. Adamesque.
you should check out Ain't No Sunshine on the pond at dusk by Austin Brown and Steven Martinez. And keep listening after the song is over for Austin's heartfelt message to his fans and reactors. Shows what a beautiful person he really is. Funny and heart warming.
Another great reaction.. another great HF song and video. . When you get a chance, listen to Tim Foust and Austin Brown with friends on his porch singing My Maria.. just came out.. so so good.. not acapella though! How are you feeling? When is the baby due? You of course, look great.. Thanks for all you do!
I love this cover of theirs. It's hilarious! Great reaction Schnell! Looking forward to your next Home Free reaction coming up here in about 2 hours (at the time of this post).
I loved how much you enjoyed this, and yes Adam has really mastered the faux harmonica. I’ve seen this before, but still enjoyed the performance and your reaction. Pregnancy is really making you glow. The mother of my children was like that.
Your right about their videos. Intricate! Like I've seen this many times and this is the first time I noticed the quick shot of Chance's mic plugged into the air
This was such a fun video. Could tell you enjoyed it too. Love seeing the goofy side of them. You can tell these guys love what they do & are like a close family. Adam Rupp never ceases to amaze me. He is the best! Great tribute to the Huey Lewis & The News song.
Great raction!! Awesome song and the guys killed another one, so much fun! And yes, Adam does harmonica "sound"." Been to their live shows when he did this and in the live version of Man of Constant Sorrow Austin goes over and joins Adam for a duet in harmony!!!! Crazy, crazy good to see and hear them do that! Take care!
Definitely would like for it to be a weekly show with guests, they are so awesome themselves, but that would be huge to have other acappela guest groups and of course so much other variety. They are simply terrific and talented!!
Just noticed below the video that you are in Toronto. Can't believe I never noticed that before. Greetings from Edmonton. Haven't visited Toronto since the pandemic, but hopefully soon. Thanks for the reactions. Cheers!
I believe that opening sound your talking about is actually made by Austin. Most of the interesting solo guitar effects they do are either Austin or Chance. So, if one is on the lead, it is probably the other one. This is slightly complicated by the fact that the sound is looped under both Chance's lead and Austin's adlibs. So, technically it could be either of them, but it just sounds more like Austin to me. That harmonica effect Adam was doing appears in two other videos Man of Constant Sorrow and Folsom Prison Blues. You barely catch him on camera doing it in the Folsom video. In Man of Constant Sorrow, he actually "plays" the harmonica horizontally and vertically to produce slightly different tones. You really should search out a live performance of Man of Constant Sorrow, because on stage Austin will actually duet with Adam doing that harmonica effect. Furthermore, if you find the right performance (I believe most of the overseas tour), they do a beatbox breakdown where they show that all five members of the band have beatboxing skills.
Geoff Castelucci just came out with a new solo song that i would love for you to do a reaction on. The song he is singing is "Big Bad John".. you will love it :-)
If you have a chance please react to, "Cover Me Up" Home Free sang by Adam Chance and watch the end after the song. Another great song is, "Proud To Be An American" and again with "Proud To Be An American Lee Greenwood." They are both really great. Same song but the videos are different! Both are really good, but I think the one with Lee Greenwood may make you have goose bumps! You might look at "Travelin Soldier" it like all their songs is great!
Schnell. Not sure where you are located in Canada, but I sure hope one day I see you walking down the street and I get a chance to thank you, for your reaction videos. You won't have to thank me back. Just seeing your smile will be enough.
Hello lovely Jordan!Wow!Cool!Very beautiful!A wonderful song. Super!Thank you, dear. Great reaction! Listen to Alice Supronova from Russia.Alice can sing in 20 different languages! Sings in the 4.5 octave range and easily sings whistling notes. You will be delighted! Give a link?🌹👏🇷🇺
Rob's boom mike and Chance's mike weren't plugged in, either. Tim's horrid hat and the rolls of gaffer's tape hanging off his belt were right on, too. Damn, they are so good!
Not a harmonica, but a saxophone. It actually sounds different from the harmonica sound in Man of Constant Sorrow video, and in the Huey Lewis original song it was a Sax. Many Huey Lewis and the News songs have the same vibe as Home Free's music so it was great to see them do this cover. The could have done the song 'Naturally' by Huey Lewis with no problem, since it was an accapella song already.
When you went back to hear Tim’s low run, you missed him doing the exact same run on the earlier verse because you paused and talked over part of it. That’s why I recommend backing up a few seconds after pausing so you don’t miss things that happen to get cut right on the pause.
I’m not really impressed because I would prefer to be allowed to just watch the video in peace without interruptions and then you can do you thing at the end. FAR TOO MANY interruptions!
Alert Alert Austin & and your favorite boy Tim sing My Maria, gotta see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I 2nd this !!!
Home Free would be terrific hosting a variety show having all kinds of great guest artists and also doing comedy skits.
Kind of like their Warmest Winter Holiday Special last year! 😁
Something like Hee Haw would be awesome.
Such a fun bop. So many fun bits, but my favorite part is Adam's "harmonica" solo. We hardly ever get to hear him sing, but he'll wail on air harmonica for half the song.
If you like funny you need to see Tim Foust southerner in the snow it'll split your guts with laughter.
Schnell, this that fun goofball side & you saw bless the broken road...THESE GUYS CAN DO IT ALL !!
I loved the jump freeze at the end. Lol! I love these guys!
The HF guys have fabulous senses of humor which are clearly displayed here. They never take themselves too seriously. 😆 And Adam Rupp's vocal percussion & phantom harmonica are musical genius I have a difficult time getting my brain to compute... I would love a Home Free show something similar to The Monkeys back in the late 60's. It was goofy skits and them performing. My teen self loved it!
I’ve been saying for several years that they need a music/comedy variety show or something! I loved the Monkees, too!
That's pretty much every one of their concerts! So you should go see one of those. :-)
oh goodness....Chance looks like a very handsome reporter in his maroon suit. lol
And the cowboy boots with the suit 😂

Yes, Adam plays a harmonica without an instrument. So does Austin.
Way too much FUN ‼️😂‼️🔥🔥. Pure AWESOMENESS 🔥‼️🔥❤️
Adam Rupp is just unbelievable!!!! I have never heard someone do a Harmonica by mouth without using a Harmonica! Just outstanding!!!
Seriously, omg. Adam’s harmonica is just beyond. It’s kind of a not human talent!! Holy crap!! 😳❤️
you should check out Ain't No Sunshine on the pond at dusk by Austin Brown and Steven Martinez. And keep listening after the song is over for Austin's heartfelt message to his fans and reactors. Shows what a beautiful person he really is. Funny and heart warming.
These guys are great! Funny or serious they rock!
Another great reaction.. another great HF song and video. . Love the home free double shot. Maybe another one soon? Thanks for your reactions. Home Free with the cover upgrades
The original by Huey Lewis and the News was also a fun video in the early music video days of MTV.
Huey Lewis and the News played harmonica like that.. Adam even sounds like their harmonica.!
I loved how much you enjoyed this, and yes Adam has really mastered the faux harmonica. I’ve seen this before, but still enjoyed the performance and your reaction.
Pregnancy is really making you glow. The mother of my children was like that.
You are so right these guys are so talented and silly.
Your right about their videos. Intricate! Like I've seen this many times and this is the first time I noticed the quick shot of Chance's mic plugged into the air

Home Free has a great song and video out that is called "Hillbilly Bone" you will also love this one too :-)
I would definitely be a fan of their show if they had one. Love your reactions.
If they got a TV shoe, I would definitely watch it. 😎
Just noticed below the video that you are in Toronto. Can't believe I never noticed that before. Greetings from Edmonton. Haven't visited Toronto since the pandemic, but hopefully soon. Thanks for the reactions. Cheers!

I believe that was done on a live version of 9 to 5.
I just can't get enough of them♥️
Geoff Castelucci just came out with a new solo song that i would love for you to do a reaction on. The song he is singing is "Big Bad John".. you will love it :-)
My dream coime true would be watching HOME FREE on their own show
If you have a chance please react to, "Cover Me Up" Home Free sang by Adam Chance and watch the end after the song. There fantastic and amazingly funny.
Hey beautiful. that video was golden
Love Home Free!!!1💗
Damn...Adam was born with drum kit inside his body. Can anybody say that's not a real drums???And Tim's bass,bass,basssssssss......
hi love your reactions if u love low notes you must react to "In the Blood by Home free"
A Home Free variety show where they sing with different artists would be amazing! That format kind of went out of style after the 70s
Don't forget, three other members can beat box, including Tim.
Schnell. Not sure where you are located in Canada, but I sure hope one day I see you walking down the street and I get a chance to thank you, for your reaction videos. You won't have to thank me back. Just seeing your smile will be enough.
Have you done HF's cover of "My Church"? You'll love it.
Yes I would watch a show
Sorry I missed you but its always good on replay
Hilarious 😂 😃 😄 😁 🤣
If you want some funny stuff, Country Fried Pop Medley, All About That Bass, The Butts Remix!!!
Surely you have heard Adam do this on other videos.
The question is, which Adam Rupp harmonica solo is better: this one, or Man of Constant Sorrow?
Hello lovely Jordan!Wow!Cool!Very beautiful!A wonderful song. Super!Thank you, dear. Great reaction!
Listen to Alice Supronova from Russia.Alice can sing in 20 different languages! Sings in the 4.5 octave range and easily sings whistling notes. You will be delighted! Give a link?🌹👏🇷🇺
Cool
Schnell, where are you? Did you fall down a well? Where's Lassie when you need her?

Mostrar mais de Gabriel Henrique , a Voz mais Espetacular desse Planeta.
WXHF? weather Home Free!!! Adam's head phones not plugged inll. so much detail!
Rob's boom mike and Chance's mike weren't plugged in, either. Tim's horrid hat and the rolls of gaffer's tape hanging off his belt were right on, too. Damn, they are so good!

This is a fabulous cover of the 1982 hit by Huey Lewis and the News: th-cam.com/video/lcIK3akktLU/w-d-xo.html
