If you are going to have background music behind your voice, bury it further into the background as it is incredibly annoying to have it competing for focus. For the price it looks quite reasonable on the surface, although I have noticed a few muni PC's in this kind of price range hit the market in the past few weeks that are quite capable and have generous I/O. I have a feeling that the higher end models are not selling in these tough times where people are having to prioritise their spending more. So a few months ago, this might have been towards to the top of the pack but now has potentially more capable competition. Any chance of giving actual port details? USB 3.0 doesn't tell me enough. 5 or 10 Gb speed?
I'm thinking about getting this particular version of the Beelink EQR6 Mini PC to replace my two-year-old Beelink SER4 4800U Mini PC, which has died of internal hardware failure a couple of months ago. Once I finally get my new Mini PC, I'm thinking about switching to Linux right from the start. I've seen stories about how buggy Windows 11 24H2 is for many people. And since the bugs won't be fixed until the end of the year, Windows might not be right for me anymore. Besides, I don't use any programs that strictly require Windows, anyway. After having used Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon on my older Mini PC during its final days of its lifespan, I'm thinking about installing the Arch-based CachyOS on my newer Mini PC. I've heard some good things about CachyOS, and I wanted to get back to using an Arch-based distro, but I didn't want to return to Manjaro or EndeavourOS.
I have a Beelink SER5 that I bought myself for my birthday around this time last year, and it has never let me down. When it was time to replace my dad's computer, I told him how smooth running my mini-pc has been and sure enough, he is now a proud owner of a Beelink. You gave a phenomenal review, and I really enjoyed watching your content and opinions!
I have a total of 4 Beelink SER5s with the 5700u, they are just so good. Totally silent, more than enough performance for general home and office use, couldn't be happier for the price. I'm always on the lookout for sales of the older models, such bargains
Hi there for Greece.Very nice video review. But please make the review for Ninkear N9 Mini PC. Congratulations for useful channel and very Thank's for good job.
Excelent review as usual !! Quick question: what is the default TDP after the unboxing? I am looking for a 35w capable mini pc but no more than that. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback about the music.
According to Beelink the speed is 10Gbps.

So kind of you to say this!
I have recommended MiniPCs to many friends and they have all been very happy with their choises. So much more practical!

Great video.....with all due respect though, the specs should be first in case they are not good then we do not need to watch the rest.
Sounds like you are quite experienced about tech. Many people aren't though. I try to keep a good index so that you can roam between the sections.
Facts 💯
Hi there for Greece.Very nice video review.
But please make the review for Ninkear N9 Mini PC.
Congratulations for useful channel and very Thank's for good job.
I'll see if I can get one
As an office pc, my only complaint is no vesa mounting. Other than that, this pc is perfect for my use case!
👍👍
The lack of VESA mounting doesn't concern me even the slightest bit.
What if you dont need the graphics so much? You should change the BIOS settings?
Not necessary to change anything. Just enjoy
@@TechMishka just got it today! Wish it had 10GB network port though :)
can i play with it the same game title as beelink ser5 with 5800h. Or is the 5800h the better choice for light gaming.
Quite similar. The newer AMD processors have the 680M and 780M GPUs which are much better
I only use photoshop sometimes video editing is this pc good for that?
It is, yeah
ser5max or this?
Both will be excellent. Whichever you get at a better price
eGpu support?
Not with this one
Nice review! What do you mean by the fact that VESA mounting is possible with "other solutions"? Do you mean velcro and the like?
Yup, Velcro it is
So I ordered this pc but it came with the ryzen 9 6900hx. Will that make any difference?
There is, and the 6900hx is awesome too
Excelent review as usual !! Quick question: what is the default TDP after the unboxing? I am looking for a 35w capable mini pc but no more than that. Thanks!
It is 45 TDP. Not sure if it is locked though. For some Beelink models you can't really change the value
I checked price in China, $300 dollars only, or 2200 RMB
👍👍
no eGpu support and no support for a 2 drive = garbage
Depends on people's priorities...
