Nate's line delivery is so unique I love it. It has an air of laziness, boredom, and complacency, but it belies an intelligent side I think lol.

I always love when comedians are interviewed. It doesn’t matter what they are asked, they just shoehorn in their bit. “Are you setting resolutions?” “The other day I went to McDonald’s…”😂😂
Yea... we all kinda know that they're gonna do prepped bits, but this question-to-answer flow was SO obvious... I actually feel kinda bad for Nate here, even though the fault is on him for not flowing it well enough. I know the prepared the entire interview, but you can't blame Fallon here for Nate's robotic responses (not saying you did blame Fallon... but, still, just saying)

@@CJ-gy8ie is it possible that this is just how he thinks and speaks? If you follow Nate Bargatze, you may have heard his interviews on podcasts. He doesn't sit down and write jokes. He has specifically said that if he has an idea, he maybe writes "I eat a lot of sugar" on a piece of paper somewhere, and that's the last time he ever looks at it. After that he's talking it out on stage.
I loved how Jimmy asks Nate about his New Years resolutions and Nate disregards and immediately starts talking about McDonald's 😂
His New Years resolution is clearly to eat healthy haha

I mean, it was a bland switch in subject and he strangely slipped in that he talked with Kate Blanchett
One of the first bits from Nate that put me on the floor was when he talked about his plan for dealing with a home invasion, mentioning "my wife sleeps closer to the door. She's pretty tough. She's from Alabama ........"

His joke about not being able to prove he’s from the future if he time traveled kills me every time!
Legitimately one of the funniest concepts for a joke I have ever heard.
If my family was held hostage and their release was based on my knowledge of President names, I'd carry their memories to the grave.

AND that's saying something bc I'm a momma & I have 2 kids & they're doing alright.... but we all LOVE Nate Bargatze! Hope to take my family to see him live soon! Stay blessed Bargatze family!

Nate is a gas. I like it when he ignores Fallon's question about resolutions. It seemed like Nate might work in a resolution response when he was talking about pre-diabetes, but no, he stuck with ignoring, which cracked me up.

I watched his netflix show and have been searching through youtube watching as many of his videos I can find. I love this guy, no screaming, yelling as if the audience is hard of hearing, just the perfect tempo. I can't get enough.

Nate is by far my favourite comedian. I could watch his specials over and over again and laugh just as hard each time. His Nateland podcast is great. I prefer to watch the video version on TH-cam. He’s awesome 🤩

Love this man’s comedy. The best & so humble!!
I went to Nate's show in Reno back in July of 2021. Anyone that has followed Nate for a while knows that his dad is a magician/comedian and at the Reno show, his dad opened for him and was brilliant and hilarious. However, the most moving thing was how he closed his act and that was by saying, to a packed house by the way, "Thank you all for loving my son." It was so beautiful and moving and I just about get choked up thinking about it. Of course the crowd went nuts too. It was a great show and Nate was just as funny as always. It's great to see him doing so well.
Nate has great comedy instincts that make being funny look completely effortless.
He is a naturally funny man. And the part where he’s having this conversation with a guy who’s thinking about becoming a comic, that is so real life.
Reminds me of the Jim Gaffigan bit on McDonald's. Both guys are gems because they are so funny while remaining clean.
He's not lying, digging a hole is so damn hard...spent a summer digging a big ditch and my god all the rocks in the earth...fucking hell.

See that's why he's one of the best ever imo. You saying he's not telling jokes is a testament to how effortless he does tell jokes. He absolutely has it down to where it seems like he's just talking but I promise this is all practiced. He's honestly brilliant.

After I watching this Tonight Show segment, I went to NetFlix to see what Nate is all about. He's terrific. There's one line, where he says to his wife ( when she tracks him via his phone to a Krispy Kreme shop) -------- "I can't live like this" --------- that just absolutely slayed me.
