As a North Carolina native and fond of Beaufort, NC, Kim you did a great job promoting the town. You mentioned the "pirates". Beaufort does have Pirate Days September 23, 24, and 25. It is a great time!
Just discovered your videos. Looks like you are out on the water enjoying the Loop. I’m glad to see videos of the wonderful areas on the Loop. I think videos are one of the best ways to grow interest in the Loop. I hope to add videos to ICW Free Docks in the future. Take care!
Hi James! Great to hear from you. Yes, I'm out on the Loop and having a blast! Thanks for watching. In addition to these "Great Loop Lifestyle" videos there's a playlist for Great Loop Cruising Info. th-cam.com/play/PL82Wyujruc-v-CQ4uRDdpfp1t9D-5gK2S.html
Hi, thank you for posting your video on Beaufort NC. We know what you mean about the wind. We stayed in OBX that same week your video was posted. Reason I am writing my wife and I were looking into visiting Beaufort. After watching your video, and a few others she is concerned is there enough things to do and see for a week? Think in your video you stayed 4 days? To me it looks like a great small town with things to see and do. She likes have a schedule of stuff to see and do. As I am more laid back and go with flow. Just curious what thoughts you could share about time spent there on your visit. Thank you again for posting your video on Beaufort. Thanks Chris and Carrie
Hi Chris & Carrie, I think there is probably enough to do to stay busy for a week if you are interested in wildlife and nature excursions. In addition to what we did in town, there was a lot at the Rachel Carson Wildlife refuge that we didn't have time (nor weather) to do. There are also tours to some of the other nearby islands, great paddling (from what we were told). With good weather, you might fit in everything in 4 or 5 days, but a week is likely doable. Hope this helps!
@@GreatLoop Thank you for getting back. Shared your response with my wife. Looks you have swung her intrest into going for the week. Thank you again for on spots to checkout. Thanks Chris
The shrimp scampi at Clawsons will be a lifetime memory. Incredible.
Nice little tourist trap town.
