You are staying in New Market area and at one point I could see the famous, around 85-year-old Nizam's restaurant behind you in this video. Do try their Kathi Roll sometime, it's delicious. Also, you can try nearby Dawat Restaurant's biriyani and traditional Bengali foods at Kasturi Restaurant; both of which is situated in Marquis Street. Enjoy!
Our hotel was near the Newmarket so we basically went there on a daily basis 😁 you're right they do have good rolls. If we don't show it on video, that doesn't mean we don't try it. Sometimes we like to enjoy time also by ourselves, without a camera .... 😊

Hi, Kolkata native here. Its always advised that you make sure you are getting your food and water from a clean place. You dont want to fall sick on your trip. Generally people wont harass you in India and even if you face any such incident you need to walk into a police station and seek help and you can expect strict action will be taken. We have pretty strict laws in India. But just to be safe in a new place dont stroll around very late at night, try to avoid drunk people, touts and crowded places. If you need any help dont ask random people and try to ask the police personnel. Bon Voyage!

Biriyani and Haleem are more arabic influenced food and not authentic food of West Bengal...You should try to eat in a restaurant which serves authentic Bengali Food...like 6 Ballygunge Place or Kasturi to get the authentic experience and try Different Kind of Fishes and Meat Dishes..Dipto is a good vlogger but with due respect he doesn't know shit about real Bengali food..he only shows the so called Gimmicky Bengali Food and does not know the real deal..I recommend you to go to restaurants which serves authentic Bengali Food and it will surely be a different experience for you guyz..Peace✌
