Welcome home Gayle. I want to THANK YOU sooo much for all that you do for us with your videos. You are an inspiration to all of us and also you are not just a TH-cam person, you have become my friend, (thats how I feel anyway) I laugh with you, sympathize and understand your mistakes, I also make them, cry for you, pray for you and your family and in general, would love to sit down (in person, cause I do this every morning anyway) and have a good chat and a cup of coffee or something with you. Love what you do, love how you work out the challenges, and this inspires us sooo much. So, again, THANK YOU. I hope and pray that your hand and wrist heal so that you can do what you love to do. Blessings and hugs as always from Cape Town. Diana
I was in a group of seven ladies that would rent a house in Bandon on the Oregon coast and some of us would scrapbook and others would make cards. We would laugh and giggle, and eat just like you are describing. You would be so fun to be with, I love it when you tell your stories and are able to laugh at yourself. These pockets are so pretty and look very easy to make, another project to try!
You are so fortunate to have a close community of crafters to physically interact with. I have yet to find anyone-- friend of someone I just met--who even knows what a junk journal is.
I know what you mean. So I joined a junk journaling group called Foxy crafters where I can post things I make and get feedback. Could be an option for you 😊
Same here. I have been creating for at least 20 years. I am in awe of people that have communities with create with, get feedback from and share. I had to laugh when you mention "happy mail" in another video. I have never received happy mail and wasn't even sure what it was or how you go about receiving it.
Flyimg in circles huh? I love the way you applogise when you cute an animal part off or say glad no one was hurt in this video.lol. anyway i am making these pockets tomorrow. Can't wait. Love and god bless.
Hi Gayle my name is Isa. I was watching one of your videos and you where having trouble putting together your ideas and were apologizing for it, but I think watching the creative process helps so much. Plus you are so funny I love watching you! Keep up the bumbling crafter.
We have stellar blue jays where I go camping, and they are so bold, they come and steal our food on the camp table, lol. We don’t care, because are so pretty. I love these pockets and gonna make some this afternoon. Love you Gayle, 💕🌸💕
Dear Gayle, always but always you can explain techniques and ideas with such clarity and understanding. I really appreciate it and most of all your wonderful laughter to help ease the way. 🙃. Love, Lenie
OMG....."flying in circles" LOLOLOLOLOL....I literally started laughing out loud....your killing me smalls....LOL. (and the butterfly) oh my gosh....I needed a good laugh. wheeewwwwww.
Those are beautiful. It is so good to have you back. You make my day. You just can't help but laugh out loud. I'm recovering from back surgery & sure need your videos. Love you bunches. Sorry about the butterfly!
Sounds like your retreat was a blast - of course. You were very productive as usual. I would be interested on a little report of what the other crafters worked on and what they accomplished. Its fun when there are multiple crafts going on and to see what other people are doing.
After any getaway it’s always hard to get back in the swing of things. Great video today and I love this idea, it’s on my to do list. Watching your video and there was a little baby bunny in my yard feasting on new flower shoots and greens, okay by me. Happy Crafting and see you tomorrow. 👍🌼🌼🌼🐰
Gayle, I just loved hearing about what took place during your retreat. Sounds like everyone had a great time. Hugs 🤗 Your friend Cindy from a small town in Northern Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️❤️❤️
Super cute! Love them! Darn it now I have to try some… lol! I so enjoy my sissy and her sense of humor! Got a good giggle with you while I was crafting! Love me some crafting with you! Love you bunches! 💕💖💕
Good morning Gayle...it is Friday 5am...playing catch up....glad you had a fun time...I too do the Anne Brooke tags...I really have just tried to do them when I have time....I have finished 15 so far and they are challenging and fun...you can’t do it all and we like whatever you choose for our daily time with Gayle...you are a bright spot in my day for sure❤️and hugs from Minnesota 🌷🌷🌷
oh gosh, watching it on re-run today. Love it and Cheetos! also my favorite junk food. Whether you call yourself the bumbling crafter or no perfection here, you are by far one of the most entertaining personalities I watch! Just LOVE your videos! I am a total fan of yours!
Hi Gayle!💖🌷🌸 I so love watching your videos, and your beautiful channel, for sure. Thank you for sharing your inspiration with us, and I wanted to wish you a wonderful Happy Mother’s Day!!💖🌷🌸
I have not been feeling the best this week ( have a cold) and this video made my day!! Thanks for sharing about your retreat. Wished we had something like that in Ohio. So glad you took a break and had some fun! You deserve it!
Hi Gayle! I’ve been staying up with you, on the videos. So fun to hear your stories of the retreat, I’m sure your next one will be just as fun, or more so! Big hugs Bestie!
I can so relate to your issues! I laughed out loud! Reminded me of a crop i attended and forgot my underwear! My dear friends left little paper underwear at my seat whenever I walked away for a bit....lol!
I love them no matter which way they go into the journal !! They are awesome ! Oops, but you can always draw new antenna on the butterfly. I save the wire from the wires ribbons that I pull out when making flowers. You could use that and make swirly end antenna too. You just need to glue them down good so they wouldn't snag on anything. That would add some detemention to the pockets too.
Hi Gayle, I just want to share and tell you, I am now addicted to making Napkin Stamps and it is all your fault! I CAN’T STOP! I just love them and have a stash on hand witch is a good thing. I love your videos and look forward to watching everyday 😘
I think I consider what it would be like to live in every location I vacation in. But it will never happen! My son manages a craft brewery in Austin, TX and some of the "flavors" they invent are quite interesting. I hope your strawberry was fine! Aren't we having fun with Roxy's challenges? It's fun to see what everyone is doing with them.
I enjoyed myself listening to your stories and struggles (“I am probably off camera but I got to use my stomach” 😁) while crazy stitching (that’s embroidery + slow stitching + hand stitching + beading 😁) my next journal cover. Thank you 😉❤️
Great to hear all the fun you had at your retreat. You know, you could have asked us where you put the Tim Holtz tickets in one of your daily updates :)
I lived in Montana for 6 years in Elberton and the Anaconda region is just beautiful I love that little creek that runs through there. At Elberton with a a
These turned out great...fun project!! Added to my "want to do list". You crack me up....take time to get organized!! 😄 I can't be creative when my stuff is not where it belongs. Big hugs..💜
Thank you for admitting that you can't complete all of the wonderful challenges available. I've been feeling guilty about not having time to complete all of them in the way I feel comfortable with.
I have relatives that used to live in Anaconda. My uncle worked in the copper mines. The last time I was there was probably 2000. We were staying at a nearby hot spring resort. I remember the museum that was there and I still have a painting I bought there from probably a local artist. It's a nice quiet town but not a lot happening there. At least then anyway.
Greetings from Calgary, working on some vintage tags and catching up on your videos and tutorials today💕 so glad I found your channel, Enjoy your day 🌺
Gayle so happy you’re back, it wasn’t the same without you. The flower you used came from On the way Craft Shop. I’m just watching a video of Rachael’s (Roxy Creations) and she’s just used the same flower.
You did your pockets different from Rachel but I really like it your way too. When I go to a quilt retreat, it takes me weeks to get everything unbanked & where it belongs again.

"so he won't fly in circles we'll just tear off the other ANTLER!!" so funny!
It's a wonder I didn't wake my husband with my laughter over the butterfly antlers. Lol It's great to have you back, Gayle.
Oh my gosh, between "Oh, sad pants," and butterfly antler destruction, you had me laughing up a storm today. Thanks, goofball!
Dear Gayle, always but always you can explain techniques and ideas with such clarity and understanding. I really appreciate it and most of all your wonderful laughter to help ease the way. 🙃. Love, Lenie
