- The runner up in last week's video poll, "I have heard that Masonry ..." is a presentation first put together by the GRand Lodge of the District of Columbia, although I have no date for its publication.
"The purpose of the presentation is to provide guidance whereby you may assist [a] man, whom you feel "should be a Mason, to voluntarily seek a petition.",ngjnrg
When I decided to become a Freemason, I had already studied books and documents related to Freemasonry for 4-5 years, with the aim of knowing exactly and correctly the path I want to follow.
It was late: I was over 40 years old and the words of Ecclesiastes (a book attributed to King Solomon) echoed in my mind: "everything has its time" (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)
It was decidedly too late and I could no longer accept becoming an apprentice at this age. (a fruit tree that you plant and take care of bears fruit only in 4-5 years)
From my personal experience, I advise young students to get their hands on the book, study books on Freemasonry and when they have the ideals and convictions that they want to become a Freemason (knowing the cause) the opportunities to become a Freemason will come naturally.

We joke about "riding the goat" and how good kids taste.... Some people dont get it??
I have ridden the GOAT and I am qualified in assisting candidates to do the same but I'm NOT a Freemason. How is this possible?🟣🐐
I volunteering want to join so where do I ask?
Excellent! Try the video at this link for what to do next: th-cam.com/video/D41G7AP3R94/w-d-xo.html
The best way is to reach out to Freemasons local to you. What country and state do you live in ?
@@damienhudson8028 I answer probably 10-20 of these questions a week. I dont understand why people are so "lazy" just to google their local lodge. I just dont get it if you are motivated.
This channel certainly has piqued my interest in Freemasonry.
That's great to hear. Hopefully in a positive way? 🤔
@@FromtheQuarries yes, haha. Quite positive.
You should visit your local lodge :) @@fusion9619
