Ive gone ahead and done the steps from beginning all the way through till I get to the Steam Rom Manager. Thing is, when I get there, I do not have the option to toggle on/off cloud services and when I preview all I see are the Emudeck roms and emulators that I already had on there. The only difference I can see from what I did/might have done is that I tried using Google as my browser in cloud services settings and then Firefox when Google did not work. I do also have my roms (not positive on the emulators) on an SD card if that changes anything. Any advice/tips would be great, thank you for the tutorial.
Getting a “Something went wrong” error on Max and some of the other services when trying to watch. Does anyone have a fix? Edit: I was using Google Chrome, and because they don’t allow video stream on a Linux based OS, I switched over to Microsoft Edge, enabled full screen and it worked like a charm
It took a bit but I got it to work, my Steam ROM Manager didn't have a desktop app, so I opened it through EmuDeck. At first to looked different and didn't include Cloud Services, but after messing around a bit and updating the emulators it changed to match the video. Sidenote: for some reason TH-cam is only showing as TH-camTV. I tried changing my selected services but it only showed TH-camTV. It could be where I seemed to gloss over in the video. some web browsers seem to work better than others. I’m currently using Microsoft Edge, it seems to work the best for me with all the applications. I hope that works?

Hey, great guy to get everything online. I'm having an issue with launching anything from crunchyroll, I'm using the Firefox app and it keeps on giving me an error "med-1". Some internet searching made it apparent that somehow the launch needs to be modified to enable wide vine, but I have no idea how to do that. Help?
Just a heads up, had to factory reset my deck recently (not related to this). Followed the steps again and it worked like a charm. Thanks again for the easy and simple tutorial.
Did I miss it or is the Movies and TV app for Microsoft not listed? It's an app that allows you to buy digital copies of movies or to rent them so I would assume it's still classified as a "Streaming" app right? That's disappointing if it's not included.
Whatever EmuDeck has on their list is currently what’s available right now 🤷🏽♂️. These aren’t actual ‘apps’ either, these are basically shortcuts to a web-browser that’s pointed towards “Netflix”, “Hulu”, “Disney +”. I’m not familiar with the Movies and TV app for Microsoft, so if there isn’t a web-browser based streaming site for it, then there probably won’t be a solution for ya. Thanks for the watch!
That’s storefronts that’s like asking if you can Google play movie on Apple. It maybe could be done but that’s just asking to much. These are just streaming services
Hey, thanks for the watch! Yes, you're correct. Unfortunately we have to wait for the streaming services to actually put out actual apps! (Which I doubt will ever happen)
Hey! Thank you so much for the watch. The artwork should populate automatic through Steam Rom Manager. You can also do it manually and I show you how in this video: th-cam.com/video/cTaWfc3lUUU/w-d-xo.html I hope that helps!

I'm not getting a cloud services category option after Parsing on Emudeck, only my game roms are there even when i manually scroll through it. (I followed the video step by step)
I just did it again myself after getting my Steam Deck repaired. Open EmuDeck (scroll down)>Cloud Services Manager>Click More Info>Click Manage Cloud Services.
Hey! Thank you so much for watching the video. From what I understand, The Steam ROM manger “manages” all of the emulators, ROMs, and Stream services that you wanted added to your Steam Deck in game mode. You need to run the parser so that it compiles everything you’re adding to your Steam Deck. During this step you can even customize the art work of each ROM, or on this case, the Streaming Service. Once you’re finished, you click “save to steam” and it’ll save everything to your Steam Deck in game mode. I hope that explanation helped! If not, I’d suggest checking out other videos about the EmuDeck and the Steam Rom Manager exclusively. Thanks again for the watch!
Hmmm that's interesting. Since Emu Deck does everything for you, it's hard to pinpoint where it went wrong. What web browser are you using with your steam deck?
@@TLDAcademy Just wanted to let you know I was able to get it working! I ended up downloading Chrome and setting that as the default browser in Cloud Service Manager. Apps are launching full screen now.

A couple weeks ago I got my Steam Deck back from repair. I had to use this method and everything worked fine. My suspicions lead me to your web browser. I found that only Microsoft Edge works with the streaming services. Make sure you set the web browser to Microsoft Edge.
Unfortunately, that didn't work for me after changing the default browser to Microsoft edge and also rebooting the device.@@TLDAcademy edited: I made Microsoft edge the default browser for the steam deck system instead of doing it through the cloud service manager settings. @@TLDAcademy I was able to get it to work with Edge!
@@Ashleigh_1 OH YES!!! What was the process like getting it to work? Did you have to select the web browser?
You can launch the rom manger from emu deck
Im trying to follow your steps but steam rom manager isn't working like you said it would bro. I'm only able to download images. Where am I going to download crunchyroll?
Looks like when I boot up any of the services, they show up in full screen mode. This seems to impact my ability to bring up the virtual keyboard to sign in. Don't know how, then, to close out the experience other than a hard reboot. Any thoughts?
Hey, great guy to get everything online. I'm having an issue with launching anything from crunchyroll, I'm using the Firefox app and it keeps on giving me an error "med-1". Some internet searching made it apparent that somehow the launch needs to be modified to enable wide vine, but I have no idea how to do that. Help?
Hmm honestly I have no idea to remedy it. I use Microsoft Edge browser as it seems all my apps work perfectly with it. Thanks for the watch!
im stock in steam rom manager, Cant click "Parse" button, it requires me to Create Parser before i proceed. And the parser config is too much for me.
awesome tutorial. just having an issue with the browser showing in game mode. how'd you get it to run fullscreen?
It’s so weird I’m getting a lot of questions about this. It’s something that EmuDeck should set up for you 🤔 thanks for watching and letting me know!
Just a heads up, had to factory reset my deck recently (not related to this). Followed the steps again and it worked like a charm. Thanks again for the easy and simple tutorial.
Can you download shows through it for off-line viewing?
No, this is pretty much a shortcut to your web browser. The streaming services do not have similar features to your smartphone apps
I have downloaded all the cloud service but their icons dorsnt show any image for each app. Why?
It looks like Peacock will still not work using the method :( I just get the sad cat eyes image. Any thoughts?
Hello, my keyboard won’t pull up with x button for crunchyroll help.
I imagine this is still opening just a web view onto those services? So you won’t get download options from the services, right?
Hey, thanks for the watch! Yes, you're correct. Unfortunately we have to wait for the streaming services to actually put out actual apps! (Which I doubt will ever happen)
@@TLDAcademy yeah i don't imagine they will! :( what other media options there are atm? (i mean with files that one might have stored)
I did all the steps but when I open steam rom manager, the apps doesn't show, maybe because I'm using the sd card ?
Question: How do you get the artwork? All of mine are blank?
Hey! Thank you so much for the watch. The artwork should populate automatic through Steam Rom Manager. You can also do it manually and I show you how in this video: th-cam.com/video/cTaWfc3lUUU/w-d-xo.html
I hope that helps!
Iv been trying to do this but it won’t work but the old method works for me Still so I don’t know I gota get someone to help me with it cus I’m just confused
Really? I’m glad the old way still works! 😅 thanks for the watch!
Anyone know why whatever of the 3 youtubes I pick it always installs youtube tv instead of regular TH-cam?
Really?? I saw another comment, someone saying that they tried picking regular TH-cam but it only installed TH-cam TV. I didn’t have that experience, but I’ll try experiment with it.
Do you still need a mouse for these apps? I want it to act exactly like tv apps
@@TLDAcademy Thanks for responding, it worked. Can't believe I missed that 😂
@@_isaiah.g._3521 EPIC! Last piece of advice, Microsoft Edge works BEST for pretty much all streaming services.
@@TLDAcademyi'm stuck on this step. I get an error saying "you must update and run steam rom manager for changes to take effect in steam"
Zo im really confused about the parser oart, what exactly am I meant to do to actually parse everything?
My apps are launching but not in full screen like yours. I followed the instructions but can’t figure out where I went wrong?
Hmmm that's interesting. Since Emu Deck does everything for you, it's hard to pinpoint where it went wrong. What web browser are you using with your steam deck?
@@TLDAcademy I am having this same issue
I tried both Microsoft Edge and Firefox. Neither launches in full screen
@@TLDAcademy Just wanted to let you know I was able to get it working! I ended up downloading Chrome and setting that as the default browser in Cloud Service Manager. Apps are launching full screen now.
@@kthx_bai ooo that’s awesome! It’s crazy how some people find Chrome to be the browser that works, whereas for me, chrome stop letting me streaming a Disney+ and paramount, so I got Microsoft Edge and that worked for me.
I’m glad you got it working! Thanks for the watch!!
I completed the instructions, everything went smoothly until the end when switching to gaming mode, All the cloud services apps for me refuses to launch. Since this video is 4 months old, I don't know if being on the newest SteamOS software is what's causing it not to work? Any idea how to get it working?
A couple weeks ago I got my Steam Deck back from repair. I had to use this method and everything worked fine. My suspicions lead me to your web browser. I found that only Microsoft Edge works with the streaming services. Make sure you set the web browser to Microsoft Edge.
Unfortunately, that didn't work for me after changing the default browser to Microsoft edge and also rebooting the device.@@TLDAcademy
edited: I made Microsoft edge the default browser for the steam deck system instead of doing it through the cloud service manager settings. I just read the comment you pinned. Everything works now, ty for the help.
Steam Rom manager does not show Cloud as a catagory? what do I do?
do i need to have the apps downloaded before doing this?
This is the way...!
