    This is the simplest explanation of how to write a literature review I’ve come across, brief, concisely explained the details without being overly critical and to the point. Excellent video Prof.

    The "strip" method is efficient. Because it demonstrates how to build a structure iteratively from the ground up. I believe structure is the key to "developing" a paper that readers can understand.

    This video is incredibly helpful. Following the six steps prescribed by Pr. Stuckler really facilitates literature review framework. The key concepts particularly sparkled my attention; then came the numerous examples he brought in. I should definitely adopt this approach to complete my dissertation writing. .

Are the search terms in step 1 "inequality + health" or is it enough to simply enter keywords one after the other in google schoolar?

    Thanks for the video. I only wrote the introduction and conclusion after writing the bodies. When you think you know enough information to write an introduction, but when you run through the research body...the introduction does not mean anything you find in the literature views. The best would be finishing the body, then introduce what you just wrote, then conclude what you just wrote.

    • @profdavidstuckler
      @profdavidstuckler  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes there’s no one size fits all- just suggest not starting with the intro first! Recipe for frustration and endless rewriting

    Thank you so much for this helpful video! This is my first time writing a thesis so I have a question. All the paragraphs at the literature review should have the peer structure? All of them? I mean, if we have a 10-13 pages of literature review with more than, let's say 15-20 paragraphs, all of have to follow the peer structure and mention something new? Thanks in advance!

    • @julietr8786
      @julietr8786 ปีที่แล้ว

      systematic review is a methodology so if someone else followed the exact same process as you did they would get the same results. So you have to describe exactly what steps you took to find the papers that you use.

    Detailed scientific paper writing techniques are under explored. Though it is the most important part to communicate out research work. In 2022 Prof Dave published a great content on how to write scientific articles to the point. In this video Prof. Dave describes the chronology of writing skills to make the content clear and to the point. Hope to see more videos on this topic, it will be great If Prof. Dave analyses with real published articles.(Ref: Prof David Stuckler TH-cam channel )
