I compared an MLA citation using only a URL with ChatGPT versus the tool in SciSpace to create the same citation. Only the ChatGPT citation was correct. I also told GPT to make an improvement based on MLA requirements and it corrected it. SciSpace does not have this capacity. I am an academic librarian. It is important to save and share facts and true information.
SciSpace has been getting worse. Extract data function used to work properly, but not now. I have the premium plan, but it doesn't seem like it's worth it anymore.
im still using chatgpt. what i normally do is Using Undetectable AI as a post-processing step for ChatGPT's responses can greatly improve content quality, especially for customer support, social media, and other client-facing materials.
I have a key question. Suppose i found a good paragraph somewhere but it doesn't have any references. Which of these apps can provide me with the most accurate refrence for this paragraph? Also please introduce some of best accurate AI and websites for checking plagiarism.
I dont think its AI which will make you a good reaearcher, unless you have very low expectations for your career and a misunderstanding of good research.
Any AI, built using GPT based LLM model is questionable, when it comes to plagerism. All you could do is to verify sources used and filter it a bit, to make it less identifiable. Unless you know, that is not the case, it cannot be guaranteed to be plagerism free.
amazing video of the implementation of ai tools to write scientific literature. i still find it really difficult to ask the write questions at for instance #JenniAi. any recommendations how to formulate questions correctly?😀
ChatGPT is good and free, as any AI tools do not rely at 100% alway verify the output. Many other AI research tools are not free, you have to pay. Please to recommend another AI tool free of charge. thanks
All the tools I recommend are free to use with certain limits. Same with ChatGpt: if you want to use the full power of GPT and have no limits on the daily inputs/outputs, you have to pay
However, one can use ChatGPT hallucinations to explore new ways and topics. Those focused on acceptable sources are good for reviewing literature but sometimes you go for something else
How can you use hallucinations for that? Surely, you don't want to base your topic on fake or invented information. Studies show ChatGpt was wrong 50% of the time when suggesting new topics for research. So you'd be better off just flipping a coin :P
@@AcademicEnglishNow Federico is right. He understood something about IA that you don't. I explain i my way : hallucination may be sometimes caused by a too good alignment, which finally endangers dogmas. The question that remains : whose hallucinations ?
Your can upload pdf of papers to chatgpt and it does all of that. Let's say upload 50 papers and it does it all. Why bother with these then and pay extra

Could you take a look at the tool "scite" ? Would be very interested in your opinion.
SciSpace creates false citations of articles and invents words that don’t exist in the source
Use paid one
@@jawadkhan9079 Paid version of SciSpace is always accurate?

Agree. To me the thing is : know your subject better than IA, so that it can learn you things about it.
SciSpace is another useless AI.....wasting my time....
