Colombia fun fact:
After Gran Colombia collapsed into the countries of Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela in the early 1830’s, Colombia kept Panama, which even back then was being very closely watched by other countries due to its potential to build a canal. The U.S. attempted to negotiate with Colombia to make the canal a reality, but since there wasn’t much cooperation from the Colombians, the U.S. opted to use their now classic technique of helping the locals of the area in question to rise up against their government, this resulted in the independence of Panama and construction of the Panama canal, so I guess that’s another country in the list of screwed by the U.S.

As a Colombian speaking Spanish and knowing how to pronounce all the provinces of Colombia right I laugh so hard when he made the joke about meta being Facebook and also just hearing them pronounce anything Especially when he tried to pronounce my home province name when he absolutely slaughtered it with no mercy

Something to note about Spanish names is that they're finetic, which means that every letter is always pronounced the same. There is no long or short A, there is just A.
Same in Italian, I can't wait to see how he will pronounce italian regions
