I’m not Brazilian but I was rooting for acre from the start. Sad timed
If one territory completely surrounds the territory of another state, the next time it’s selected, it should automatically take the state it surrounds. Not only would it be more accurate to actual warfare, but it would allow for bigger territories to stand a chance against the smaller ones inside it, being that there isn’t exactly a direction for “inside”.

The reason why you have 2 Mato Grosso is you probably erased the "do sul" in the southern one. It's a situation a bit like Virginia and West Virginia, where one was created after the other and was a part of it. Btw you must have realized the correct count is 26 states + the Federal District (tge capital, Brasília) and you added 2 more by accident

Brazil fun fact: The country gained independence after the Portuguese prince who had been staying there for a while decided he wasn’t respected enough back home, so he went ahead, declared war to his own family, and won.
Also, in the last video I comented in how Bolivia lost the region of Acre to Brazil, where as you can see in the video it still stands today, it even was independent for a short while.

I think that Brasilia is more like Washington D.C. in the USA in that it’s not part of any other state, but it’s not a state of its own.

My grandma’ from Mato Grosso do Sul, but at the time she was born, it was only one Mato Grosso

I'm Canadian and I think the first brazilian city I learned about was Rio because of the olympics, then Brasilia when I memorized my capitals and then Sao Paolo. But I would assume Sao Paolo may be more well known on a global scale because it is a megacity... I've studied it in several of my classes. I also know the state Tocantins from survivor haha

Just to inform you on the issue: The Mato Grosso on the south is actually called Mato Grosso do Sul, which means South Mato Grosso. It was once part of Mato Grosso, however, it was separed because Mato Grosso was too hard to administrate because of it's sheer size. It's south became it's own state, Mato Grosso do Sul. Also, Acre doesn't translate to anything in Portuguese. And Paraná has this accent because the A in the end is strong, makes the AHH sound.

The ´ on the a's makes the a's pronounce like AH instead of EY in English. In Portuguese, by default the A pronounces 'Ah' or 'An' but when the accent comes in, it makes the AH stronger and replaces the 'An' to the AH.
