Just as a tip that I learned while doing this, don’t use a lightening to usb-c cable. The phone will not go in dfu mode. You must use a lightening to normal usb cable. If you have a Mac with only usb-c, a normal lighting cable going into a usb to usb-c adapter worked for me. Hope this helps someone, because I know I struggled for awhile until I figured this out haha

Ok now I know what you mean. I don't have a max so I had to borrow my sister's work Mac that doesn't have regular USB. That shit made me go fucking crazy and I gave up breaking into this icloud locked iPhone 5c. I'll get my own regular USB-lightning cable and try again on my windows. Mac is a bitch to work with cuz it's too damn limited. I tried installing the libusb backend, but my sister doesnt know her password and only uses touch id. I lose again there. I don't think Sliver is gonna work with windows. It doesnt work with a mac os VM either. So I give up lol.

So when i use Sliver bypass tool 6.2 i get this message on the old mac,
"Go to the iOS 14 bypass section and click install necessary files"
where can i find this so called missing files, i do not usually use mac computers, only use one for this purpose and problem right now.
fixed this by uninstalling sliver from the mac and then reinstalling it.
