    Just bought a brinsea incubator.. Honestly these incubators here in Baghdad, iraq are so much cheaper than the actual price.. Even though it's from the official distributor.. In iraq the price is about 320$ and internationaly the price is 499$ / 399$ on sale... Im so satisfied with my product..
    One more question... How much temperature and humidity does guinea fowl eggs need? I tried searching but i got different results.. I wanna know your recommendation..
    Best regards. (Younan).

      Adducla Films I’m looking forward to buying one for incubating my future egg children (chickens) I’m so exited to hatch my first batch of silky chicken eggs soon with my home made incubator. If it won’t work I will buy the Brinsea incubator quicker.then later

      @@fernpear4789 i don't recommend wasting your eggs on homemade stuff.. I made my own incubator with a special PID temperature automatic controller it didnt even hatch 1 egg... My brinsea ovation 28 EX hatched 20/21 eggs.. Its so worth the investment...
      Homemade incubators are a failure thats because:
      1:they need manual turning which when you open the incubator humidity and temp goes down which shocks the eggs
      (Whereas brinsea rotated the eggs every 45 minutes day/night until last days)
      2: brinsea is very very correct with humidity as it pumps drop by drop in specific times with thier special auto humid it really simulates a hen..
      3: PID switches or normal thermometers are typicaly super wrong... Brinsea calculates the temp very precisely in way it is exactly the same as a real hen in exact
      I would not recommend wasting your time on making your own incubator.. Ive spent over 100$ on making my own automatic incubator and it failed horribly wasting me 60 expensive guinea fowl eggs... And because humidity is a pain in the ass its so much worth the investment...

    • @middleeasternvibes7981
      @middleeasternvibes7981 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@fernpear4789 one more thing... Too much humidity drowns the chick which traps bacterial life in the eggs making a explosion which kills the rest of the eggs
      Brinsea fixes that with thier amazing disinfecting design and thier special expensive biomaster anti bacterial plastic..

    • @fernpear4789
      @fernpear4789 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Adducla Films Thank you For the information :) my humidity right now is 40/50 % 48 to be exact. I need to spare my money a bit but when I get more I will definitely buy a Brinsea incubator. For a better hatching experience 🐓

    • @middleeasternvibes7981
      @middleeasternvibes7981 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fernpear4789 awesome! Just be sure whatever thermometer you are using during incubation it is going to be off a few degrees as it was not made for incubating and because humidity kind of cools the thermometer making it wrong. Be sure to buy a specialized thermometer like brinsea spot thermometer or use a mercury thermometer for more accurate temps...

      Our products are not the cheapest on the market, we prefer to focus on providing quality products that will last for many, many years. We spent two years developing this product and a great deal of research and development goes into all our products. We are based in the UK and all of our incubators are made in the UK where production costs are higher than in many other countries. Because we manufacture in the UK we have tighter control over quality and the safety of the machines we produce. Every step of every process is subject to quality assurance procedures. Brinsea work with UK suppliers wherever possible which means tighter control over quality and supply as well as supporting local industries and reducing product carbon footprint. All of our machines comply with or exceed EU safety regulations unlike cheaper imports that you can buy online. We also offer a three year guarantee with our products, we offer UK sales and customer support, we are at the end of a phone if you need us. We also offer spare parts for our machines, in fact we can still supply spare parts for some Brinsea incubators that are over 30 years old. Yes, you can buy cheaper but do your research first - find out what you are actually buying and what level of after-sales support you get before you part with your money. Kind regards, Brinsea.

      Do you mean the slot where the humidity tubing goes into the machine on the EX model? If you can send a photo to: support@brinsea.co.uk - we can confirm this. Regarding temperature, each of our machines is carefully designed to optimise airflow so temperature variations are vanishingly small. I love this friggin' limey keeping it real, with fabulous info! I am sold, and am getting one or three for the new farm! How can we program the machine to Fahrenheit instead of Celsius? Celsius and kilonewtons and cm and bar have NO meaning to citizens of the Greatest Nation in the World...USA...USA...USA! Ahh...yes...at 25:30 you DO get to the conversion to Fahrenheit, and thank you. It took a while. My comrade Limeys are always long-winded. • @BrinseaProductsLtd

    • @BrinseaProductsLtd
      @BrinseaProductsLtd  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello. It's an interesting question. It would be impossible for any incubator manufacturer to give you an accurate idea of hatch rate as it depends on so many variables, such as age, nutrition & health of the flock that laid the eggs, the age of eggs, how eggs were stored before incubation, whether eggs have travelled through the post, whether the user has read the instructions and used the machine correctly to name but a few. If you want to find out more please read our FAQ page, you can also download our Incubation handbook which gives lots of helpful advice on getting the best from your incubator.
