Distributor Install and Start Attempt - '73 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser! - Chapter 2 Continued

We added this '73 FJ40 project to our ranch in August 2023. In this video, we're doing more maintenance to try and start it!

I had similar problem when I was trying to start my truck soaking rings did bring compression up at the end my truck. I had to do a valve job there was several valves with Russ and pitting I was losing compression through the valves. Good luck to you nice collection you have there

I guess I'll have to decide whether to spend time and money on a valve job and maybe rings, or swap it out with the 2F that came with the project.
