Glad I watched this video, didn't even know you could do this. Can't you add another pipe to the outside aswell? Tom is going to love this video, his favourite topic..haha. Looking forward to catching up on the livestream tonight. thumbs up.

You can add tubing to inlet pipe and extend to outside but I decided not too.
I should have dedicated this video to Tom as he reefs for PH 💯

Interesting, nice and simple addition but adds so much.

It is one of the easiest reefing things to do and even I could not mess it up. Not one of those things that could create havoc and mess up chemistry or dump a load of stuff into the sump to crash a tank. Just need the space 👌🏻👏🏻👍🏻🙌🏻

Great topic Paul- I’ve been meaning to install one on my own system. What connectors did you use to connect the scrubber to the skimmer intake Paul?

None Rich. I detached the existing pipe that flows from inlet pipe to top and just attached this one, Simple’s. Message me if you need ant more info 👍🏻

@@fishpalace cheers buddy! I’ve got an octo skimmer which I’ve just discovered has an accessory to support a re-circulating co2 scrubber so I’m going to look into that!

Hi mate looking to put one of these togeter. Do you have details/sizes for the blue hosetail fittings and hose you used? Thanks

Thanks for message. Let me take a look and I will post the details on here. Some LFS sell the unit as a kit so you get the pod, fittings and also piping. Might be worth a look. Are you Uk based as I can point you in right direction?

@@fishpalace Thanks for getting back to me. I'm in London but I've been impatient and already sourced all the bits individually 😂 I should have waited and bought the kit you mentioned.. hopefully it all works out 😅

I was exactly the same and then 1 day I was in LFS and they had put together a package of container, tubing, 2 connectors and enough media to fill it once. Was a great offer and saved me trying to find the pieces. The rest is history 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I

@@fishpalace 😂😂 To be honest, exactly the same and that mainly is what my lazy butt has been lacking.... a plug and play jobby. 🤣👌

Plug and play for sure, if you ignore the fact that you need to change media 🤣🤣
