I like the comment "This race has been going since 1978" My thought after that was "And boy are they tired" 😂 Some great inspiring back stories on this post Hard to believe but ive never seen this post
This is great for the front runners but as a wholistic recovery practitioner in marathon/ultra marathon I worry about the physical state of the people who are out running until the latter hours of the run
I attend events all over the world and am invariably by myself waiting until the last ones come in so I see and deal with the problems they have developed being out so long. Most of the other therapists have long since gone home
Great vid, would have liked to see Lisa Weightman finish though!
I finished just a little bit behind the winner.....OK, 2 hours and 8 minutes to be precise!
Great vid thanks!

+Michael Gillan Don't worry, they'll be fine.
+purpleblueunicorn Oh that's alright then. :)

+Michael Gillan many non-pro runners take on too much when running a marathon. you're right.
2.14 marathon: "fairly good debut". You don't say!
if the black guys perfected their form like the Japanese dude, they could probably run sub 2hr marathon
Uh...okay. If the Japanese guy's form is so perfect, why can't HE break two hours?
Steve Starr kenyans genes are different from japanese genes. They run faster even with not perfect form i guess.
