We raised puppies, and my wife regrets that she did cut off there tails, the Mommy Yorkie was a Silky and I can't imagine how beautiful her tail would have looked if she had one, people are wising up though here in Texas I'm seeing more Yorkies now with there long tails. The fact is that back in the 1800s they used these Yorkies to control the rats 🐀 infestation in England 🇬🇧 and when the Yorkie would chase a rat into a hole she couldn't come back out because there tails were to long and they couldn't fold them back over there back when trying to back out of the hole so they had to keep digging the there Yorkies out of the hole, when they started crying 😢, The government got involved and hired Yorkies owner to use there dogs Yorkies to control the rat population there in 1700s and 1800s. It must have been real real bad back then. One thing I heard or read that rats would get in a new born baby crib and try to eat them, 😮😢, Ha You go Yorkies. We no longer have that problem so why cut them off anymore. I love my babies, God gave them a Soul to, they to show love ❤️ sadness happiness joy and giving, they are smart little ones, I'm blessed 🙌 to have two, the momma and daughter, 😊

Duh Miss Luna wants to be petted especially her belly. If you understand a dogs language its very easy to see. What a very cute little dog, Luna is beautiful. but please don't encourage your small dog to put its mouth on you even in play. If you allow your dog to put its mouth on you ,you make biting acceptable behavior. It is never okay for any dog to put your fingers or hand in it's mouth. If you allow that behavior, you are telling the dog it is a good thing to bite. And when the small dog bites a child and that child's parents demand your dogs death because its only been trained in playing that biting is acceptable how will you feel at losing your sweet dog. One of my neighbors had bitten another neighbor's granddaughter. I had told them over and over how to nicely get their teacup Poodle to stop putting its mouth on them, they didn't listen to a thing that I nicely explained to them. From tiny pup and to adult dog you try to make it never acceptable for that dog to put its mouth on a human. It's every one's job as a pet parent. You never hit a dog, you never scream at a dog. You simply tell them in a low tone voice NO. OVER AND OVER until they learn it. Teasing a dog is never a good thing . Please teach your sweet dog what is acceptable and what good doggy manners are. Any dog putting its mouth on you is never okay. In all of my 57years I have never had any dog put its mouth on me in any way. I simply don't tolerate it. My uncle was a very fantastic dog trainer and breeder of German Shepherds. Even before a dog is weaned from is momma, you start training this. You even turn your back to them if necessary. And ignore the dog. Dogs love attention. It is very easy to get a young dog to comply.Easier to get a adult dog to listen to its owner. If a adult dog puts its mouth on you. Gently remove your hand or finger from its mouth ,say ouch ,make a hurt face, and say NO. PLEASE TRAIN your sweet dog with love and care Trena

She’s adorable. But pls take off that awful barking gadget . Yorkies are very fragile dogs one structure wise. On time anything constraining their neck becomes a problem. Just read a bit using google. It’s lots of very helpful infos. Yorkies do bark a lot, as their personality is high strung due to size inferiority. Very smart, active, loyal. Love conquers all. Just trust me on this. U try somethin uncomfortable around ur neck and realize the problem. Wish u good luck and the little sweetheart puch. Cheers

Luna is sooo beautiful and precious! May I ask you what she has around her neck? It doesn’t look very comfortable. As you know my little Yorkie Roxie will be 17 years old soon.. I pray to God every night that if she must go to the rainbow bridge, please let it happen in her sleep without pain. She is my life and I love her so much. As I had mentioned I have always had Yorkies. . My other two Yorkies lived to the age of 20 and 22 years of age. I have always cooked for my dogs from Vet approved recipes. I do purchase the minerals, vitamins etc. that goes into the food. I have never given my dogs tapwater because I believe it is toxic and so I give them distilled water which is pure but has no minerals in it.I think the dog food that you buy in the store or at the vets is made out of diseased animals. That’s why they say many dogs don’t live to their full potential because of the food that we choose to give them. Thank you for sharing your beautiful moments with us! I can see and feel how much you love Luna and how much Luna loves you. Every morning when I wake up I just stare at my little Roxie to see if she’s breathing. She is getting old and I would give her my life if I knew she could live for another 10 or 20 years. They are so smart. And their love is unconditional and their eyes are so meaningful. Many people say that animals don’t have souls.. however, I have always always believed that when you look into the eyes of an animal, you can see their soul.
