finally LR Vegeta is actually runnable. he can even activate his revive after 5 turns. that is the core thing that makes him viable in the long run.
But think of him with an int namek goku eza

5:58 str LR vegito is the only other instance of this with defense. One turn stack of defense changed to permanent
This changes things because 1 turn buffs for defense give a 30% on the stat as they attack but 30% stacks actually go off the base stats, so it’s less than that for the single turn stat
For attack it’s happened many times, but this is the first time a 1 turn of both has been changed to permanent stack of both

The OG Blazing Battle Family Kamehameha units (Str Goku, Str Goten, Agl Gohan) was a single unit that had the other 2 pop up for the SA
The F2P Phy & Summonable Int GT Cell has his respective categories but Frieza shows up in the SA
Same with the F2P Int & Summonable Phy GT Frieza, respective categories, Cell shows up
There are plenty more units that do that so we can probably see Frieza with Cooler randomly attacking too in the SA

Just spent 30 stones on their banner and got Krillin and Gohan 😋
AGL Android 13 permanently stacks defense, same with AGL Zamasu. They couldn't stack before their EZAs. Those are just two examples off of the top of my head.
kind of hope dokkan is doing a Hero part 1 and 2(i know not normally done) and then they stick the Jiren banner and the remaining ezas for global about half way through the month.
and when anniversary hits we got even more eza to complete planet namek saga.
In quest mode bardock killed frieza and cooler and king cold appeared
Finally! The catagory gets some more buffs! 7/10 vegeta, and 5/10 for krillin gohan. I’m excited to see them in action and loved the kid Icarus reference.

Is nice to be reminded that I have these characters, because outside Link Leveling I really don't remember what's in my box outside the personal highlighters
Really wish for a stage that has a higher chance to Link Level up there's so many characters outside celebrations that get left in the dust

ABSOLUTELY NOT
I don't think so. There is nothing in the game that makes you NEED any of the two. My advice is if: if you like the unit enough and have an appropiate team for them. Go for it. Personally I'd wait until any showcase video. But keep in mind that for global players a lot of good banners will arrive in near future. My plan is to see what they release for db heroes first and then save for anni

Vegeta lost 150% defence actually
It got shifted into his base kit not lost actually. The hp restrictions in his pre eza are now streamlined to his base passive in eza.
They actually added 30% defense. It is atk and def +180% while it was only 150% def before and it was hp restricted. Until we get the showcase, try not to pass judgement.

What restrictions? There is one restriction, and it is for Goku. Having a restriction on 30% damage reduction does feel bad, but it’s not the end of the world. We are going to get difficult Namek content at some point and Namek saga is starting to become a lot better. Otherwise they are both (seemingly) very good units.
