I wonder what the Ambrose Lightship suite would've been had it been finished. I assume this was going to be one of the tracks, or at least a part of one.
@@davidbradley2094 But in an interview John did in 1997 (presumably with you, since you have the same name as the guy from the Klaatu site), John said: "And by the way, the cover art for the Magentalane album, by Ted Jones, is a graphical depiction of the subject matter of the original suite that never got done, okay? It was about the Ambrose Lightship. It was a suite that was called - I'm not sure if it was called "The Ambrose Lightship" - I think it was. And it was about this Ambrose Lightship that had wings, and it was sort of a Jules Vernian type deal, and that picture on the cover is the Ambrose Lighthship." Seems like there was a planned suite that never had much done for it. I just assumed since this track shares the title, that it would have been part of it.
Of all the great tracks on this release this has got to be my favorite, it's so mystical and I just love the vibe it gives off.

There was no "suite". This was the introduction to the side and was followed by Magentalane.
