I think the fact the girl knows the song gives the guy the edge because he had to improvise and nailed it. The girl played the song melody and took the same solo from the guitar girl. She still played it well, but I think improvisation is more impressive.
Both were incredible but she won it with how she started it hit all the way to my spine. That feeling of when you go back in time, took me when I first heard my older brother play the piano.

I record what they play afterwards and add it in so the audio sounds good and clear, it really doesn't sound good through the iPhone microphone - theres to many variables like wind, loud traffic and its very busy so the iphone picks up everything and drowns out the solos. hence why the music audio sounds crisp and clear. But what they play is what you hear :) I hope that explains it well 💛💛

I’ve found they come in handy you can get better quality audio on multiple channels if you put one on the amp you can get a pretty solid track once you have the level set.
I mean you should be able to pull it off my man. There’s plenty of musicians out there doing this type of idea actually live non scripted with actual strangers. When literally every video you have is prerecorded and pre selected friends/acquaintances it comes off as disingenuous. You have a guitar you’re not playing, it’s always the same studio audio being played with a lot of the same friends holding the same original song sign over and over. Like come on dude the song is really good but, come on.
I love a good guitar battle. This could definitely become something bigger than you imagine. I hope he continues until he ultimately gets a million likes.

As a sax player, I’d say both were really good but I think the dude had a bit of a better sound and his solo fit nicely in the pocket with the song.
