Thankyou for showing us how too fix on our own Old Mecedes Benz and being able too save money threw tough times just too ride I really appreciate you & everyone in the Mercedes Benz Community does aswell 💯🚘
Very good explanation as always Kent. Hope to see more content like this. Fighting currently with a fuel accumulator in a KE-Jetronic and replacing one is on the expensive side of things. Old one too corroded to gone, it's just so rusty and fragile im afraid it will not work. No way to rebuild it it's kind of just buy the new one for 300$ or put a one way check valve into the system.
Wha???!!! I know that old engine controls can be "unusual" but having to adjust this in this way is odd to say the least! What were MB thinking when they designed this, and then tucked it away where you can't get to it????!!!! I can see why you relocated it 🙂 Lovely to see these old motors being kept going, thank you!
What I have to share is off topic but wanted to share it anyway. Used the quarter method to check the tread depth and it was time to change the tires. As most individuals are aware getting new tires on your old Mercedes W123 240d is becoming like the proverbial finding a needle in a haystack. I have been running Michelin 205/70r14 tires for 8 years which is way to long because I was struggling to find a good set of tires. One of the custodians I work with at the local school district also sells tires from his brothers mechanics shop. He found me a set of Uniroyal 205/75r14 tires and what a difference in the smoothness of the ride. It was immediate to feel the difference. I could even feel the manual transmission shifting smoother between the shifts. The change in the speedometer is 2 mph at Highway speeds.
Excellent work and very useful to see. One question: along with the kit will you provide details and/or a kit to replicate the relocation of the WUR that you have shown here ?
It is a pain to make, and not sure there is enough demand. Convince me otherwise... :-) But it is soooooo easy now to adjust and work on!!! I used to not like the M110 engine just because of the location of the WUR. LOL
@@Mercedessource Well, I would buy one. From my own experience fabricating small metal items in my garage, I went back-and-forth getting the metal bent, but once I had it bent correctly and the holes drilled where they should be (without elongating them from going back-and-forth) they shouldn't be hard to make. Hope to see the kit in the future.

Would be interesting to see the unwired tools replacement WUR on one of your cars, Kent

Where is that previous video of relocating the WUR? Could you post link. Thank you.

where can I purchase injectors for my 1982 Euro mdl MB W123, 102.980 engine, 230E? Are they same as the American model? Thank you
I suspect they are the same as the US 190E 2.3 but am not 100 percent sure.
@@Mercedessource Ok thanks...
Will you be marketing the relocation kit (bracket & metal lines)?
