Saracen and cobra were such big crowd favourites, I remember watching this live and six or so kids won a comp and got to do a tug of war against Saracen in between games; he was hilarious, fooling around, rolling about as he let the kids beat him, cool guy.
This was what Saturday nights were all about! Lightning and Jet were adorned all over my wall as a twenty-something bloke. The only thing that was annoying was John Fashanu shouting Awooo-Gaaaa. Wolf and Cobra were my 2 favourite male Gladiators.
I was glad that, after her display of sheer arrogance, Jayne got well and truly trounced on the eliminator. I burst out laughing when she cocked up at the first hurdle.
Jayne saying she was gonna break the eliminator and then needing two attempts to get over the first obstacle was comedy gold. If you’re gonna talk big you need to back it up. She got stuffed.
The thing I like about Danger Zone and Hit & Run is that it allows appearances from Gladiators who would otherwise be unable to compete as the events USUALLY don't have direct confrontation with each other. Unfortunately, this was the time when they started doing Danger Zone only twice per year. (That's not an exaggeration. I counted.)
I don't like how the British version of Gladiators stuck in more and more events. Not only are there sixteen different events this season, but they cut the number of non-eliminator events from six to five. In my opinion, if you only have fifteen episodes a season, you should only have double the total number of non-eliminator events that you can play in an episode. Play each event 7-8 times per season. That way, no event gets over or underplayed. Of course, the U.K. version of Joust and Tilt shouldn't have been events at all. The former was too prone to draws and the latter was too dangerous for the gladiators.

I get the feeling Falcon might've been one of the physically stronger lady Gladiators with how often she did Tilt, but not so strong that she could excel at it with the higher table disadvantage!!!! Plus I've often thought Falcon seemed to possibly have the best body of all the women Gladiators!!!!
