Woe is me, I can't play until the Saturday after release. Sure would love to see a damage meter. A wardrobe. A method to export and import character builds including skills and paragon selections.
Glad to hear you guys are monitoring minion Necro builds, it is my favorite build in any Diablo games.😆 But lack of AOE, bad scaling with item stats(crit dmg etc), no power increase with uber uniques, minions not receiving movement speed stats + lagging behind , Necro's bad survivability, mobility , unable to choose priority targets to attack, almost no lucky hit chance or "on hit" effects proc, makes the build not fun to play and fall behind on dungeon clear time (or any content really) making them a undesirable class in party playing or any competitive content. I think they are one of the worse classes if not the worst class in the game right now. But it's getting better every season so maybe in season 10 it may finally be a viable class we'll see about that.. I will always be excited for some changes for minion Necro builds and always come back to try the changes..
For ANYONE who, just like me, was hoping for to face a prime evil in his truest, original D2 form in this expansion, spoiler alert: BAD NEWS: You face a bigger wolf form of him instead. I'm disappointed because i made the mistake for believing in the hype Blizzard built up.

I LOVE the changes to Runewords. I still wanted the class abilities to feel unique and more powerful to their origin classes. I 100% support the idea of the runewords being a slightly watered down version of the unique abilities for all other classes. That way the origin class still feels unique and special. I love this change.
@@DayW4lker But Diablo 4 already had "D2 runewords" lol. It's called a UNIQUE. Runewords in Diablo 2 were just uniques with an extra step and we already have Uniques in Diablo 4. The Runewords we are getting in Diablo 4 are far better than Diablo 2's runewords because they *add* power to our character on top of the items. You still get to craft a Mythic unique with Runewords if you like the aspect of collecting X runewords and getting an outcome.
so you have to invest in extra skill points to an ultimate to get the same power? weird how a runes rebalances an ult rather than just rebalancing a rune
When it comes to the campfire I think the best way is to think of a bit outside of reality where you can circle around the campfire potentially infinitely like in those horror games where you feel like you walk into a circle but the area keeps changing a slight bit everytime you return to what you thought was the point of origin. This way there may be 6 sets of 5 characters around the campfire and we can scroll through them and it wouldn't make any sense that many people fit around a tiny campfire of course, but it would keep the campfire feeling while also limiting how far we need to scroll to get a character selected and let's be honest, are we really going to complain about magic space-time while we're fighting a demon lady that spawned into this world through a sheet of flying blood? Anyway, if we actually get to 30 playable classes you can make it scrollable both ways, and even introduce a drag and yeet mechanic so the scrolling itself becomes faster.
Solid changes, Im happy with all of them, looks good. But Blizzard, we need to talk about the coice of music in the latest videos, it is really concerning lol Music around 1:47:20 was epic though! More of that!
So impairment reduction is out of the greater affix pool, thank god, can we also remove life per second from the pool? I don't see any builds using that stat. I personally would suffer from a lot less monitor punching if that could happen. Love this update and can't wait for the new expansion!
Crazy nice I am really hyped to play it already. There is only 1 thing they should bring back again. I don't know why but I liked the Idea of Uber Uber bosses. With other words you can make the bosses much much stronger till almost impossible. I know they have now this tormented difficulties but still I wish you still can make anyhow this uber uber bosses. Or better a mix like in Diablo 2 where you fight 3 uber uber bosses at the same time. They should bring that back anyhow that you can scale bosses.
@@stephenoliveau The game will have very difficult bosses if you go to Torment 3 and 4. You won't be able to just knock them down but you can try and will get rewarded for it. No, they won't be suddenly spawning three different bosses at the same time, but the one boss will be harder.
@@TheDravic I played the PTR... and dropped t4 bosses as easily as s5 tormented. they made all ladder bosses tormented and severely nerfed the drops... even s5 non tormented bosses drop more loot than a torment 4 ladder boss.
Why don't touch Barbarian Mighty Throw? Too much screen saturation due to the visual effects, even more so when using the Herculean Spectacle aspect together with The Thrid Blade. My biggest concern comes from the saturation of explosions on the screen, it is very tired for the eyes! Because of the color, the quantity, the area and the sparkles. Please do something, many of us love Throw Barb!
at least they were listening when it came to runewords. with the improvements to runes, choosing one is not as easy as just put the best one in anymore. i wonder if they fixed the broken rune combo though?????

Regarding the Paragon Boards changes, I genuinely don't get the logic behind "let's limit the number of boards, in order to increase the choices players have to make", especially when they've also increased the number of Paragon Points. I might be wrong, but it feels to me like 300 points are perfectly enough to fill in completely 5 Boards. So the only choice we'll be making is which board to get, but not what we do on the boards, and pathing will not matter. 2. I wonder why they didn't address the stat squish... Supposedly, we should have seen smaller numbers on the screen, but damage specifically seems to become even crazier than before in the late game. 3. Would've loved if the feathers from the Core Skill are also considered Storm Feathers. Same for the Druid's Lightning Bolts vs Lightning strikes. Seems kinda lame to separate them like that.
For your first point i dont understand either on that front but i do understand that too many glyphs is too much power which applies to your second point. They want each place you get power from to feel meaningful but not overpower the others. To your second point i believe the paragon is where all that extra damage is coming from. Glyphs leveling to 21 with crazy additive damage like 2k+, high amounts of main stat that adds multiplicative damage and other boosts, glyphs now getting multiplicative damage boost when they turn legendary. All of that stuff adds up quite a bit. They addressed this saying those numbers are toned down now cause paragon was overpoweres compared to other areas of power like aspects and tempering for example. My guess is because of balancing issues. Aspects that increase these damage could end up making something overpowered if it was all considered one thing. 2 is ok i feel cause the conditions are different usually

Dark Citadel boss mechanics... I see a lot of mechanics here from Lost Ark :) I love it. Re-work some of the 'boss ladder' bosses in the base game with some of these mechanics. These are the sorts of things we want to see. Like killing the spell guardian to pick up the reflect orb and getting into position in time. Good mechanic! Put that creativity into the other bosses, otherwise they are all really just hp sponges...
This maybe something small but Diablo IV should add that combo kill streak.. It gave killing hordes of enemies within a time frame an extra purpose and not to mention it made it fun at times.. Like what was your highest combo streak in D3?

Karast looks awesome, tbh...really expand on this idea. Let me add multiple tributes and bargains to a run. Add more district bosses that have a completely unique look with themed map layouts, etc. Cool idea.
Unless access to high-level karast is tough to come by with the legendary/unique tribute being very rare (I hope it is) I have a feeling with karast and the tributes, ancestral legendaries will become pretty common again. This would also then render legendaries nearly useless and the bartering stock with your mercenaries useless. Gottta see how it plays out but hope thats not the case. Hope legendary/unique tribute karast is tough to come by even for grinders that play 5+ hours per day.
Why there's no action house in the game to sell/buy with the game money? Why i need to sell only to the people who are online with me at the same time?
Maybe I missed it - but I think the last campfire chat they mentioned that leveling up Glyphs would be purely from The Pit - no longer Nightmare Dungeons, are they doing anything new with Nightmare Dungeons or are they pretty much obsolete?
To add to what ^he said, you get masterworking mats from everything in NMD, not just the end rewards. They explained the reason for the change as the pit is a single path, fast activity you want to just get to the end, so they put glyph xp at the end. While NMD design is sort of opposed to that, there's multiple paths and events, and objectives that previously were blocking you from your goal of just leveling your glyphs at the end. So now, with masterworking mats dropping from everything you do in a NMD, it will no longer feel like you're wasting your time if you take a wrong turn, or have to fight an elite pack before hitting a switch, or if you find an event, cursed chest, etc.
it would have been dope for you guys to reach out to alex "poatan" pereira and had him as the model for the spirit born male...... itd still be dope to see him involved somehow!

Sorcerer just isn’t allowed to have an S-rank build is it? You didn’t balance lightning spear, you completely gutted it in all possible ways. Since launch there have been 2 S-rank builds for sorcerer, and 1 of those was a bug, and the other one is now completely gone. And you didn’t buff anything nearly enough to compensate, so another 3 months of this class just not being powerful enough for endgame content to be fun.

You need to be really powerful to take down Torment 4 Boss ladder. Your wish is the backbone of the new difficulty system already.

No one knows their highest combo streak in D3.
I actually liked the kill streak and the XP bonus that was given when you finalised the streak. It made rounding up and killing mobs more fun.

Karast looks awesome, tbh...really expand on this idea. Let me add multiple tributes and bargains to a run. Add more district bosses that have a completely unique look with themed map layouts, etc. Cool idea.

Unless access to high-level karast is tough to come by with the legendary/unique tribute being very rare (I hope it is) I have a feeling with karast and the tributes, ancestral legendaries will become pretty common again. This would also then render legendaries nearly useless and the bartering stock with your mercenaries useless.
Gottta see how it plays out but hope thats not the case. Hope legendary/unique tribute karast is tough to come by even for grinders that play 5+ hours per day.

Maybe I missed it - but I think the last campfire chat they mentioned that leveling up Glyphs would be purely from The Pit - no longer Nightmare Dungeons, are they doing anything new with Nightmare Dungeons or are they pretty much obsolete?
They announced that from nightmare dungeons you will get masterworking materials instead of glyph xp.
To add to what ^he said, you get masterworking mats from everything in NMD, not just the end rewards. They explained the reason for the change as the pit is a single path, fast activity you want to just get to the end, so they put glyph xp at the end. While NMD design is sort of opposed to that, there's multiple paths and events, and objectives that previously were blocking you from your goal of just leveling your glyphs at the end. So now, with masterworking mats dropping from everything you do in a NMD, it will no longer feel like you're wasting your time if you take a wrong turn, or have to fight an elite pack before hitting a switch, or if you find an event, cursed chest, etc.

Sorcerer just isn’t allowed to have an S-rank build is it? You didn’t balance lightning spear, you completely gutted it in all possible ways. Since launch there have been 2 S-rank builds for sorcerer, and 1 of those was a bug, and the other one is now completely gone. And you didn’t buff anything nearly enough to compensate, so another 3 months of this class just not being powerful enough for endgame content to be fun.
