Okay lads, I was the bloke you talked too. The one Stu had is the Wrinehill Cat, its got that weird 3 whiskers and is blind in one eye. I had it last season at 45Lbs+ and again early this season at 42Lbs. It was caught a few times last season around the 45Lbs weigh. So its definitely loosing weight as its rumoured to have been stocked nearer 50Lbs. The smaller Cats seem to put weight on, but the bigger fish are down in weight. I had the one whiskered Cat at 33Lbs+ last season too. My own opinion is that the 3 whiskered Cat is the biggest, there maybe a mid 30, but that could easily be the one whiskered Cat, which is again down on wight. Maybe the size of the pool is limiting weight sizes on the Cats in here or it needs a good stocking of bait fish to feed them up again. There is a netting this Saturday on Spring and New Pool so it'll be very interesting to see what turns up in the nets.

Thanks a lot, yes most are and few from day ticket waters but mostly fish lymm waters. Lymm have a load of good waters and also good river spots I believe...something for everyone👍
