While living in one of my old apartments, I had neighbors that would yell and scream so loud that I could hear them through my bedroom window.
Their arguments were pretty heated. Apparently, the husband had cheated multiple times, and the wife wasn’t having any of it. It’s funny because when I met them individually, they were all smiles.
The one takeaway I got from living next to them is that everyone has their problems. No one is perfect. We all need to work through our own issues because we grew up with different families and upbringings. Every relationship takes work to succeed. And even so, not all of them do.
Still, I’m glad I don’t live there anymore. ☺️

I love how the entire song is sung in a calm manner, but when you say "why" and "hush" your voice becomes louder and more urgent. Same with the "I don't want to be alone" line. It's beautiful!
When I was a kid, I had neighbors who would fight and scream and curse at each other. The walls were thin. My siblings and I slept right next to their child’s bedroom. Sometimes I would press my ear up against the wall and listen to the silence, faint shuffling, the sound of an air conditioner, and think, why can’t they always be like this?
Once, when they had a particularly bad fight, my mother said my sister and I ran down to her, crying, and asking her why they couldn’t just love each other.
I don’t remember that. I do remember the curses and screaming and fear, and how I still flinch whenever someone shouts at me.
Please be mindful of your neighbors. Your fighting can affect them even if you think they’re not involved. It’s like secondhand smoke.

This is probably my favorite song at the moment, but it reminds me of something I heard a long time ago. Some people are more scared of being alone than in an abusive relationship. "I don't want to be alone forever". I totally get it, though. Being alone can be scary, and leaving a relationship can be one of the most challenging things a person can do. Even when someone is abusing you, it is possible to still love them, and it's okay to feel that way.
If anyone reading this, male or female, is in a situation where they're experiencing domestic abuse, know that it is not okay for them to treat you as they are, and you deserve better. I really, really do understand how hard it is. I've been in abusive relationships, so have my mother, my grandmother, and my closest friend. I've seen how hard it is to leave, and I know from personal experience... But ask yourself this. Are they letting you shine like we both know you can? Or are they stifling your flame, shaping you into who they want you to be? I know it's hard, but your abuser will never change. You need to find it in yourself to leave. It's scary, I know, but you can do it. You're stronger than you realise.

The first place I lived as a kid was a condo home. My parents rented there for 13 years. I’m sure the neighbors could have written a story on us. It was probably fine at first, but with no space to breath away from each other as we grew, everyone got aggressive and sick of eachother. (I’m talking kitchen, dinning, and living room was just one big room) One of the neighbors right next to us used to vacuum the walls. I’m pretty sure it was there little way of getting back at us.

It’s soo calm and soo good
I absolutely love this song. Was listening to it everyday for the past few weeks, memorised the text, singed while taking a shower and so. While thinking of the meaning of the lyrics, one thing was bugging me. The part which starts at 2:42. The phrase "I guess everybody's got their problems" was repeated in the song, before mentioning what ugly things the couple was telling each other. But this time, after this phrase we hear some wonderful worlds they say to each other and it just feels wrong after the word "problems" because hearing things like these is something which isn't a problem, but a dream of many.
And so, the n time I started to think, that maybe the third "I guess everybody's got their problems" does not refer to the fighting couple, but someone enitrely different. Someone so lonely, that at night they stand near their bedroom windows and listen to what other people are saying to each other. Someone so alone that they are concerned of what other people are doing and visit them to talk about it. And "I guess everybody's got their problems" states that their loneliness is their problem. Because what seems like a bigger problem? Fighting from time to time, but then experiencing love and living with somoene, or forever being alone? The worlds "I can hear everything" instead of "The neighbors can hear everything" only makes it more probable that the person listening to the fights is very affected by what they say, especially I think the part "I don't want to be alone forever" which is exactly what the listenening person feels.
Don't know if it is correct, dumb, overinterpretation or so, but it makes listening to this song for me even better. Now I don't consider this song just a story about fights and rejoices, but a story about loneliness and pain which comes because of seeing other people living your dreams. I probably took to long, cheers to anyone who had read that.

Help this is so hilarious. XD My neighbors keep fighting every weekend, and last time I heard (I can hear everything from my bedroom btw) it seems the guy cheated on her..... and as a plus, he got kids from an ex relationship, and she is always with those children, taking care of them like a real mom. I feel bad for her now. I can't stop playing this song every time I hear them. And I'm sure they can hear the song too ;]

@Rosendale Oof, I feel you, I hope so too. I don't really know her but she seems to be a nice person, and it gets kinda noisy because it happens like at 3:00 in the morning when I'm studying for a test and all I can hear is them or cats fighting😅😂. But that's why I have your music, Rosendale ♡^-^

I have a neighbour who got arrested for it. I'm not sure how the story was but they were 2 neighbors of different floors and the girl was a married woman with children and the boy was a very young man who got involved with her. On mondays and wednesdays, at 12AM he started screaming about "stop recording him" "opening the door" and more crazy stuff. It was disturbing and due to the screams (I think he also punched some people) he got arrested. Twice. (He came back)
