th-cam.com/video/ixA4uruUoLA/w-d-xo.html
I use this method .. sorry it's in spanish but use these methods using render doc, blender, export as fbx and into max, it works really well and fast once set up .. unless there's possibly other ways too, but this works for me
Love this. I'd also love a tutorial on importing Google Maps locations.
Me too. I have seen a bunch of videos of how to do it with Blender and then 3Ds max, but the process is not 100% accurate, I failed doing it. It would be nice to see her explain it, maybe directly using 3Ds Max.
Yes, please do the export Maps to 3DSMAX terrain tutorial. I've been waiting for soooo long!
Will do!
Happy birthday Aga🎈🎉🎉🎉🎉
Najpiękniejsze miasto w Polsce. Zaraz po nim moj Wroclaw. Aga jestes wielka, masz potężną wiedzę, z której korzystam! Dziękuję
Dziękuję!!!
Super knowledge ! Small remark - we all should not use 5000 pix, or 1000 pix. This is the binary environment, so proper value is 1024 pix, 5120. When you use 1000 pix than it is recalculated to 1024 on screen. Therefore software like Unreal or Substance never use 4000 pix textures, but 4096, not 2000 but 2048 and so on....
Thank you so much!! would be super nice if you do the google map location tutorial 😊
Thanks for sharing
Thank you Prof
Great 🎉
You are amazing
My 2c tip: use 2D Pan Zoom Mode to get closer to lines in the background image and when done Exit it.
Nice

Wonderful. At 3:03 did you invert x and y axes, right? Or am I doing something wrong? Or maybe it is just the same? Thank you.

Hello, which is your camera? the main camera tha you're recording yourself?
Great tutorial ! Thanks . Please do a tutorial how to export city from Google Maps to 3ds Max !
Thanks for the effort - great video. However, if you look closely at the roof tops and the vertical lines of the buildings, the perspective still doesn't match perfectly, and it's notable. I have had this problem for years now with 3ds Max; whenever I match the perspective, the vanishing lines seem perfect but the 3D model is still off. This is a huge issue and it's been reported in the 3ds Max Autodesk forums. I hope you have an explanation for that. Thanks.
When you add caméra from the view, the vanishing points move. The best Way is to use free camera
Love from bangladesh , i really loves your work

I have to point out that you incorrectly changed the film width to 35mm. The default of 36mm (36mm x 24mm) is correct for 35mm film.
You're right, thanks!
3:43 You should not change 36mm to 35mm. Please do research on what 35mm film/sensor really means. You did this on your drone camera match as well, which is incorrect. 35mm is how wide (tall) the film is, with a much longer length (width). When photos are captured in a landscape orientation, the height of the photo is taken at the width of the film (35mm side). The film had holes (perforations) on the top and bottom so you could wind the film, so that 35mm wasn't fully used for image capture...it was 24mm for height, then 36mm for the width of the photo. Today's sensor's of a full frame camera are 36mm wide by 24mm tall...hence the 36mm for the width of sensor. 35mm when referring to the sensor is just telling you its a full frame camera (36x24). While it doesn't make a huge difference, it is wrong to change it to 35mm. Please look it up.
You're right, thanks!
@@ArchVizArtist you’re welcome. Looking forward to the Google to 3ds Max. I did it the other day with render doc and blender to FBX to 3ds Max. Works ok. Curious to see if you use the same method.
seems like way too much nonsense for something, you can easily make within a couple of minutes by just eye or after the basic perspective matching.
Love this. I'd also love a tutorial on importing Google Maps locations.
