Thank you for the insight... Its very obvious when you think of it, but reaching that point on your own might take quite a lot of time and practice! I will try that on my next wargame!
Done this in a couple games with various types of units. Mostly battletech as it was easier to manage there for me. (fast hover tanks and vtols with lrms or ac/2s when I couldn't use artillery were insane as they were fast, easy to get behind units and they had to put multiple units on them to stop it)
