I can see women 20 years from now, jumping up to sing “you look like you love me” on karaoke night… it’s such a classic and it’s only been out for a few weeks!
So Grady has basically gone full social media influencer on us now it seems 😂😂 I think we all can agree we’re stoked for all that success you’ve had over the years. Keep up the good work
The best classic country song that I've heard in a long time that I play everyday is Scotty MccCreery's No Country For Old Men. So true for this 72 year old traditional country fan.
I am so ecstatic to see this rise to stardom for Ella Langley, I’ve been hip to her since she released Country Boy’s Dream Girl & the Excuse The Mess tape, her rise is nothing short of AWESOME to watch!
Right now I’m on Redferrin’s song Just Like Johnny. It sounds like he is trying extra hard to add the souther drawl in the verse, but the chorus is good and catchy.
I got so excited when you started talking about Kameron Marlowe (and “Strangers”). He is INCREDIBLE and I keep waiting for him to blow the F up in country music. He is the next Luke Combs, mark my words.
OMG I LOVE Katie Lynn Sharbaugh! Girl is so going to be the next big thing. The way she does singer-songwriter-folk-pop with that fiddle is so good. Her music is always fun and has the best lyrics. (Go check out Omaha) And Lucky Girl Syndrome? Easily one of the best of the year. Been waiting for her to release it for forever so I’m so glad it’s finally here!! And you’re so right, Lucky Girl Syndrome is totally giving 00s female singer songwriter like Regina Spector or Sara Barellies
You are my Country Music Guru for lack of a better term. Most if not all of your recommendations get added to my Spotify 'Station'. Thank you so much for all the hard work you do! ♥
I've never felt more disconnected from one of your videos. Aside from Ernest and Lainey, I've never heard of any of those songs and the only other artist I've heard of is Muscadine Bloodline. Now, in fairness, I don't really listen to the radio, I don't have a TikTok, I don't use Spotify, etc. I get 99.9% of my music just listening to Pandora while I work, which has a tendency to repeat certain songs A LOT. So most of my music is Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, HARDY, Bailey Zimmerman, Tyler Hubbard, Warren Zeiders, etc. And, if I'm being honest, I find them much more catchy and enjoyable to listen to than anything you made on this list (and when I say ANYTHING, that really surprises me because I usually find at least 1 song I like from your videos).
this is a pretty cool way to talk about albums in the future, just leading with their “catchiest” song. Honestly makes me want to go listen to these songs firsts and hopefully stay for the rest of their music.
My daughter and I have been jamming to Sierra Ferrell's new album since school has been out for summer. In particular; "Fox Hunt" and "I can drive you crazy" lol
A handful of us were arguing in the group chat whether or not that was you in that Laurel Cove photo haha! We went this past year and were some of the first in the pond for Red Clay Strays. It was awesome.
There are a couple of new duets that one is being played on the small independent radio stations and another is one that have a flavor of another language in it. For King and Country's new song featuring Lee Brice have been released to country radio from Curb Records and not Word is the Religious record company that Curb owns. Closing in on the top 20 Music Row radio charts now. The song is called Checking In. The other song is the Latino artist Carin León coming over from the Latin charts on his new song featuring Kane Brown call The One. I did not know Curb Records signed Darryl Worley. His new single out in small independent markets called Tractor Time which he have help from Chris Janson and Justin Moore. Lets just say that Darryl Worley is back.
Earworm for me in Strangers is “Damned if we don’t damned if we do” when Ella first comes in (also huge Kameron Marlowe fan. I’ve seen him twice in concert and he was phenomenal both times)
Dude, seriously, living abroad has severely shrunk my exposure to country music but You, and thank you so much, you show me some of the best music out there and make me continuously buy new CDs!
Solid video. Haven’t heard of a lot of these artists. For duets, I’ve been enjoying the Bronwyn Keith-Hynes feat Dierks Bentley, Trip Around the Sun. Great stuff
Been making a effort to listen to all the new country songs this year, and several of the songs I've liked ended up on this list. Hadn't heard of the latter 3 or 4 so will need to go listen. That Ernest album was unreal with how good it was. Listened to the new Lauren Watkins album yesterday and it was really good. Been some great songs produced this year, and love the variety we're getting. It's like listening to that radio station that plays everything, lol! Good stuff here, Grady, and respect your opinion.
Perfect timing, I'm in need of a new song obsession! I love Ella Langley so I'm sure that one will be next ❤ Grady you're amazing and hilarious please keep being you!
Hey Grady! I love your channel and have been following it for a while. I really appreciate how you cover artists who aren't just are mainstreamers and introduce some awesome artists who we don't always get to hear about. I don't normally comment on any videos, but I wanted to share an artist who has brought the genre of country into the modern Christian music world, Anne Wilson. For anyone who loves a Christian and Country genre mashup, Anne Wilson is the way to go! Thanks again Grady for all the hard work you put into this channel. It doesn't go unnoticed so keep it up and God bless!
Hey Grady if you haven’t already heard it listen to Muscadine Bloodline’s song “Jamie all over”. It’s a cover of an emo rock song and I forgot the name of the band but the lyrics of that song with a country twang is pure heaven
Enjoyed the concept, (been there for a lot of the different video styles) you seemed to enjoy and feel at home in this one. Maybe thats just me reading too much into it, regardless, enjoyed the video!!
I can’t get most of Ernest’s album outta my head, but my favorites are Would if I Could, Honky Tonk Fairytale, and Ain’t Right Ain’t Wrong. I also really liked Zach Top’s album and my favorite on that album is Use Me.
Hey man, huge fan of your content. Would love to hear you talk about the new Bilmuri record “American Motor Sports” it’s not a fully country record, but it’s definitely country influenced enough that it should be on your radar.
Hey man you gotta listen to and talk about Kashus Culpeppers song that just came out called after me, I saw him open for Charles Wesley Godwin and he is so great
Would love to hear your thoughts on all these “retreads” I hear on the radio: Young Love & Saturday Nights, She Had Me at Heads Carolina, and now Chevrolet by Dustin Lynch. Are they cheating the system by using the formula of much better previous hit songs??
I can see women 20 years from now, jumping up to sing “you look like you love me” on karaoke night… it’s such a classic and it’s only been out for a few weeks!
You're like Chris Stapleton now: featuring on everyone's show B-roll without singing a word, hahahahaha! XD
Very true
I Never Lie by Zach Top has me in a chokehold as well as You Look Like You Love Me!
I SLEEP LIKE A BABYYYY
That’s a great song, good overall album
That’s my most listened to song of the year on Apple Music
So Grady has basically gone full social media influencer on us now it seems 😂😂
I think we all can agree we’re stoked for all that success you’ve had over the years. Keep up the good work
Thanks so much for that!
I absolutely love this new Riley Green & Ella Langley song, I favourited the song instantly after 30 seconds
Interesting. The Ella duet I can’t get out of my head is beautiful lies w/ Tanner Usrey.
So glad to see The Castellows mentioned! They're great
Strangers has been getting airplay on The Highway for a while. Seeing Ella open for Hardy next Friday in VA.
Oh my goodness "Omaha (The only What If)" by Kate Sharbaugh is on my *constant* rotation. So happy to hear some praise for her
The best classic country song that I've heard in a long time that I play everyday is Scotty MccCreery's No Country For Old Men. So true for this 72 year old traditional country fan.
Great song. Just listened to it 5 times in a row
That album is excellent
Depending where you live, Charlie Crockett (yes, Davy is a relative) is on tour. Old school as heck.
Thank you very much for the recommendation ❤
Ella’s new songs are awesome! My number 1 and 2 are the same as yours!
I would if I could by just Lainey is so underrated!! Gives me neon moon vibes
It’s the best day when Grady posts. Also good job big shot celebrity

Ella Langly is killing it rn and I can't wait for her new hungover album!
Its really good
I am so ecstatic to see this rise to stardom for Ella Langley, I’ve been hip to her since she released Country Boy’s Dream Girl & the Excuse The Mess tape, her rise is nothing short of AWESOME to watch!
I love Grady Smith's channel for keeping up with Nashville, but damn I wish someone would make a GS channel for TEXAS country
It's Holy Smokes by Bailey Zimmerman for me. Been stuck in my head the past two weeks
burnin it down has sounded so good for so long his covers are so good
Right now I’m on Redferrin’s song Just Like Johnny.
Said this three years ago!!!
Truly hoping Kameron & Morgan Wallen make a duet!
@@Daverlix YES!! Have you heard Kameron's cover of Morgan's version of "Cover Me Up"??
Ella Langley got me into a country music deep dive
Coleman Jennings is one of my favourite new artists. absolutely amazing voice
OMG I LOVE Katie Lynn Sharbaugh! Girl is so going to be the next big thing. The way she does singer-songwriter-folk-pop with that fiddle is so good. Her music is always fun and has the best lyrics. “I Tried a Ring On” by Tigirlily Gold is so catchy 🎶
You are my Country Music Guru for lack of a better term. Most if not all of your recommendations get added to my Spotify 'Station'. Thank you so much for all the hard work you do! ♥
The Ernest album has been my favorite this year! I think you nailed the feeling with the it’s a modern produced album but feels like a classic!
I've never felt more disconnected from one of your videos. Aside from Ernest and Lainey, I've never heard of any of those songs and the only other artist I've heard of is Muscadine Bloodline.

Use Me by Zach Top is constantly on my mind these days, especially the lyric "I know we both know it ain't true"
this is a pretty cool way to talk about albums in the future, just leading with their “catchiest” song. Honestly makes me want to go listen to these songs firsts and hopefully stay for the rest of their music.
I shrieked when you mentioned Katie Lynn!!!!

Seeing the Castellows and Muscadine get b2b recognition after seeing them together with Turnpike in September🥹🥹
you're not the only one singing to yourself Grady, we all do it :D
Ok but your singing sounds so good in this video!!
I REALLY hope you cover Moth to a Flame by Morgan Wade. It's great, beautiful and probably her first real country song.
Love your videos!
Would if I Could is song of the year for me so far !! It is SO good!! Dean Dillon is a genius

Earworm for me in Strangers is “Damned if we don’t damned if we do” when Ella first comes in (also huge Kameron Marlowe fan. I’ve seen him twice in concert and he was phenomenal both times)
The first time I heard 10-90 I immediately thought I can't wait to hear Grady's thoughts on this.
I can't be the only one that thinks Ernest's newest album has gone criminally underrated.
I have really been enjoying your place by Ashley Cooke and Dirt Cheap by Cody Johnson. Those are probably my 2 favorite songs right now.
4:04 I've been thinking of a way to describe Earnest's music. I feel you just gave it to me😅
Diggin Holes by Brent Cobb is forever stuck in my head and I ain’t mad about it
Saw Kameron in 2021 and Ella about a month ago. Both were Great Live!!
One I’ve had in my head is High Road by Koe Wetzel and Jessie Murph 😅
Dude, seriously, living abroad has severely shrunk my exposure to country music but You, and thank you so much, you show me some of the best music out there and make me continuously buy new CDs!
Bro I found Katie Sharbaugh two months ago and I was hooked.
Solid video. Haven’t heard of a lot of these artists. For duets, I’ve been enjoying the Bronwyn Keith-Hynes feat Dierks Bentley, Trip Around the Sun. Great stuff
Cozy by Braxton Keith has been on repeat for the past two weeks
Bro!!! I love seeing you there...
Hope you have more success...
Old No.7 Road is my absolute favorite song by The Castellows.

Ella is sung ALL DAY EVERY DAY!

Ella & Riley agreed. I sing it all day, everywhere i go 😆

A song that popped up randomly and I keep going back to, again, and again, and again.
Goerge Pippen - Indiana Knows My Name
10-90 immediately jumped to the top of the list for first dance songs at my wedding in a few months
for me personally i’d also add the zb purple gas duet, i’m really hyped for this years album
This song has been stuck in my head too, nonstop since the first time I listened.
Why Dallas by Ernest has been stuck in my head since it came out
Grady, I always love and enjoy your pure heart and honesty. It is what keeps me coming back!
Cheers for all the work you been putting into supporting country music from NZ, keep it up
3:21 she said, “I would if I could, but I can’t so I won’t”, but I have been saying ALL MY LIFE “I would if I could but I can’t (cain’t) so I ain’t”.
Those vocals🔥🔥
Good to see some Leon Majcen love!
Related to this the one song in country I can't get out of my head at the moment is, Aint No Love in Oklahoma by Luke Combs
Have you listened to any Ty Myers. He is going to be one of the next big names. All his songs are great!
Hey Grady if you haven’t already heard it listen to Muscadine Bloodline’s song “Jamie all over”. It’s a cover of an emo rock song and I forgot the name of the band but the lyrics of that song with a country twang is pure heaven
Curious to see your opinions on Gavin Adcock. Dudes been rising up the charts and is releasing a album soon.
I am so surprised that "I had some help " post Malone and Morgan and shaboozy's "the bar song " wasn't on the list both are so catchy
I just did a vid about those two songs so I figured I didn’t need to talk about em again!
@@GradySmith yeah I just watched it, saw it after I commented, good work..sorry about that
You have a pretty voice
Thanks for supporting the guys! I think you’re definitely right about 10-90. I really love it, too!🥰
(You’re becoming such a superstar!)😉
Enjoyed the concept, (been there for a lot of the different video styles) you seemed to enjoy and feel at home in this one. Maybe thats just me reading too much into it, regardless, enjoyed the video!!

Would love your review on Zach Top’s album
Not finding anything from Randall King and/or Koe Wetzel on this list has me wondering what’s happened to Grady
