What Kind of Italian Are you RUSSO = RUESSO LOL Love all the service joints on the tractor. At work we have alot of issues with Isuzu NPR King Pins not taking grease. We jack them up, heat them up and inject grease in there! Hopefully it helps! This Sunstar is in great hands!
lol,,,,yea, when I come back to dealing with the front bearings I may try that,,,cook the old grease a bit!! Good idea!
Hi Arch, I just purchased a Sunstar 20 and your video's help me better understand the components and operation of these great tractor's. I was told mine is also a 1989 build. I have a front hitch that helps me move my boat trailer's and utility trailer without breaking my neck.

I recently got a sunstar 20 and I watched this video because the mower deck lift and both PTOs don't work so I'm going to have to check some wiring and stuff. Thanks for the information on fluids.

I have 2 tractors a sunstar 18 and a 20. Both with twin magnum engines. I change oil once or twice a year and if your not using it in winter fogging oil into the carb is smart

The m18 and m20 should only use straight weight 30 oil. Multi weight is too thin above 30 degrees for these kohler engines
that's why I added the Lucas!!!
Good to see another person enjoying the Sunstar models. I have a few of them.
The engine mount bushing you referred to is a rubber isolator that is tac welded into the plate in three spots. Regarding the fuel guage, if you watch the guage closely when you turn the key on and if it twitches but isn't going up when you know you have at least a half a tank full, most likely it's due to varnish build up on the cork float on the sending unit inside the tank and lost it's buoyancy.

I'm in NY, long island,,,the gauge needle dropped down, just a small part is showing. When I 1st got it it was ok. If i tap it, it works..Eventually I will get to the fuel system,,,thanks for the tips!

I have a 7116 simplicity tractor and rototiller and I can't find a Air filter for it can u please help me.

and do a full search for your model number and name, something should come up
you can also measure the filter and try searching that as well, check the filters for any markings and search those too.
