- Marvel is a comic book franchise or something I don’t know I am not into capeshish. Martin scrossesy said nothing wrong. The MCU is dead and the reason is the films got to good for the common crowd to understand. I love marvel now it’s like they are spending a third of a billion to appease just me an a couple of my friends.

@@ezekiel0606 As far as I know, alcohol is harder to obtain and also more expensive in Sweden. So much so that for some Swedes it's a "better" idea to just buy a ticket to Prague and get cheap drinks over here (you can buy them at any convenience store and our prices are cheaper for foreigners, even bars).
Of course such mentality often leads to trouble. I can't speak for Swedes but over here it's led to the talk of them getting absolutely wasted and taking up a surprising portion of alcohol poisoning cases.
Mind you, I have not seen that happen personally and been some years since I heard anyone talk about it, but that's the stereotype anyway.

It's crazy that we've reached a point where the flaws with endgame are generally accepted. I remember when people treated it like a perfect movie.
I only liked End Game because of Thanos being permanently killed off, but besides that I hate everything else about End Game.

Endgame was a perfect movie exclusively for when I was a 16 year old nerd whose brain exploded from hype when Captain America picked Thor’s hammer. I will always be grateful for that one singular moment of childhood joy, even in spite of the absolute mess that was the rest of the film’s plot.
Partly the honeymoon period of exciterment but also you usuall hold out that the nagging things might be addressed in some movie or thing a few months later. nce you know for sure either way, you're a lot more sober about it.

Wish Kilian had mentioned the scene in Captain America where Steve jumps on the grenade in training, which is meant to display his willingness to place his comrade's lives before his own, but in reality were it a live grenade would just result in him dying for no reason since the others immediately dived for cover. It's so stupid.
Absolutely fucking not, Old style grenades have a fragmentation range of about 200 meters, meaning people would still be severely hurt, including the guy who dropped it
Besides it was a test of character, a coward would run away, a hero would jump on it to make sure it didn't hurt anyone else

Every time I hear about the Marvels, I have to google it to make sure it’s a real film that got released, and not just some hypothetical film that’s set to come out in the future. I don’t think I heard about it at all when it actually came out.
You could tell me anything about The Marvels 2023 and I’d believe you. You could say right now that Kamala Khan performs in a three-hour live stage production about her Loki x Howard the Duck fanfiction in that movie and I’d just be like, “yeah sure that tracks”

I don't know if it's because of the length of the video, but this is one of my favorite Garbage Retros now. Just really drove the point home how creatively bankrupt all of this was in the grand scheme of where it ended up.
