songs: 1. Mongo Santamaria- cloud nine 2. el chicano- what you don't know 3. soul entertainers- respect 4.fred karlin- you are hip miss pasterfield 5.cooking on 3 burners- feel good inc
I love bangroc's sportsmanship. He enjoys the battle a lot and even though his other crew floor gangz is battling gamblerz, he still roots for gamblerz as well. I love that guy.
a CLEAN 6 step is harder than a flare. You can learn clean flares in just a couple of weeks if you are in a good physical condition but it takes several years until you get your 6 step clean.
sick battle! gamblerz showed insane new level of techniques that took me by surprise, while floorgangz were drunk to the beats expressing with soul. I would say tie breaker was necessary, but I think floorgangz had the advantage during the tie breaker because of the beat. The fast paced beat just hit born really hard, since born is a beat rocker, he just had to killed it. In the other hand, it's harder to express with techniques to such a fast beat
Guy's honestly after having such an ill battle go into a tie breaker and ending like that?!?! I would say give it to floor gangz for covering the aspects of that last song with the utilization of power, freezes, style and musicality. I honestly don't know if these Koreans have limitations as to where their dancing can be ranked at. Regardless, that was a sick ass battle.
born's tie break round completely murdered the beat, it's funny i always wanted to see him rock feel good inc from cookin 3 burners the hits are really fast and obvious, reallly nice, crazy how kill i think it was hit those 2 beats right on with his flare, airchair, elbow to flare much respect both sides
completely agree with the result... could've gone both ways but with the tiebreaker I think it's safe to say Floor Gangz won. as impressive Kill's last set was... Born's last set alone could've took the tiebreaker, imo.
I agree that footwork is physically easier to do than power. However getting basic footwork clean and smooth is harder than learning basic powermoves. Or maybe not harder but it sure takes more time.
Here's the thing. Tricks are cool, but they're really not THE priority in bboying. I'd say musicality, cleanness, and creative personal flavor come first. If you can do those things with hard tricks, more power to you (no pun intended), but it takes a variety of skills. This was a dope battle, but I'm going to just trust the judges, and know it's subjective anyways. That's art.
@PhantomR32 there r a lot of things well almost everything that they do is original.... its ust that many ppl r so used 2 c gamblerz and many other crews started taking moves and sets from gamblerz that now it doesnt look so original...
gamblers should have won? did you watch ALL of the battles? tino roc doin power in his first sets, all dance in his last. born doing all style in his first sets, more power in his last. they showed power and style in every battle and switched off so they could conserve energy. you look at gamblers sets and they're all power. if you're the judges, and ur watching battle after battle, and one team is just doing power over and over, even if you get to finals, it's gonna be hard to win.
I think that Gamblerz took it before the tie breaker... FG weren't doing that good so there was no need for it, however, FG did a little better in it, so yeah :) But a damn good battle!! Kill is a fucking beast.
seriously? oh ok... I know he does that airflare over rocket routine but I thought it was So because of his UFO combo and their flares look the same... thanks for clearing it up then :)
@brawnybrandon ok i was a bit ahead of myself i noticed this comment i feel what your sayin he deffo could have donde better in the final but he isnt whack think any event competing then cyphers or just jammin then back in the final respect 2 that i just dont like if some1 is dissin some1 who gets 2 a final cause its hard work battling all the way
personaly the way i see it if i was a judge i would have given it to gamblerz by a lil, i dont agree with the comments of saying they killed born lol if anything it was on tino i think born held it for floorganz, in the tiebreaker floor gangz killed, but would have given it to gamblerz in the begging
