Gabby nailed that very difficult Whitney Houston song! The 3 judges were floored in awe. Maddie would not even attempt to sing this song because she could not have. Caleb sounds good, but has no stage presence. At this point, it's clear.........Gabby will win. Anyone that thinks she will not win by now is lying to them self.
I agree she should have won but I honestly think it's gotta be rigged.

I'm sorry I never said anything mean about him so I don't know what you've been inhaling. I said he was quirky and entertaining (those are compliments FYI) but that I noticed he mumbled a lot when he sang and that I didn't think he showed who exactly he was on the show as far as what music genre he would fit into. LOL I don't think you fully understand what mean is
Kourtney Grimm actually you said he fakes his way through..does not know the words and mumbles and is not top 3 material. All that was not necessary .. some people like his style but lots of things in life are fake not just tv shows. I just think you can compliment one person without trying to rip the heart out of another...they will all go on tour and this meanness will not make it easy for them. Fans are very passionate and they all have to work together
Let me put my reply in context since you seem to like to switch it all around to your convenience. I said sometimes it sounds like he is mumbling which makes it appear as if he does not know the words and is faking his way through the song. That is just a fact if you actually manage to LISTEN to his performances. I am not the only one commenting about the mumbling and even the judges have mentioned that he seems to lose the words of the songs sometimes. It was just an observation not a judgment. And saying I didn't think he was top 3 material is not mean but is merely my individual opinion and apparently the opinion of most of America because he did not make it into the top 3. He is talented and entertaining as I will say AGAIN because you obviously did not hear me the first time but he just doesn't compare to some of the other contestants.

I am predicting the Top Two will come down to Gabby and Maddie. Those two very talented young ladies can easily win the competition.

For the people who've made comments that Whitney sang this song better, keep in mind Whitney was 30 yrs. old when she recorded that song. Gabby was 18 yrs old singing this tough song!!! She's beautiful, full of stage presence, and is extremely talented at 18!!! She's the real winner with a #1 song to her credit already after Idol!

It was good, but it's hard not to compare it to the original by Whitney, and to be honest, Gabby is no Whitney. Still, I prefer she sing these more pop melodies than country, although I imagine she'll go the country route after the show.
