I’m a 61yr old tough guy and have been all my life but when he said “ if anything is said of me when I die it will be that he loved his wife” it knocked me to my knees and I cried. I’ve been married 38yrs and I hope they will say that about me Love you, Deana. Congratulations! May God stay the shining light in your life.

I know any person who loves a woman that long certainly does deserve to hear that at the least and the day that god calls you home my dad gave everything to my mom there wasn’t anything that he didn’t give her she found out that he had cancer and cheated on him after 40 years and I stayed with my dad in his pain and loss he is cancer free seven times and four severe heart attacks and surgeries and he is going to be 89 still going strong and my mom is alone she lost her so called boyfriends three since she left dad he never had another relationship he was hurt beyond words but he has taught me that you can make it through such horrible things as long as you don’t loose your values and stay true to god.

I just came here to see this young lady who has a #1 Hit song called "I Hope". This is what I found...a truly lovely wedding with vows from a husband that would bring tears to any woman's eyes and fullness to her heart. You can tell that he truly loves her. The way his voice broke when he said his vows had me in tears. "I Hope" they have many, many years of happiness and joy. May God guide them on their journey and praise them with His love.

My husband and I have been together since 9th grade and I’m now 43 n he’s 44 years old. We have 3 awesome kids 27, 21 and 18 years old. And this brought me back to our wedding day. Everything that man vowed he met. His whole world is still centered around me all these years later. He still surprises me with little thing. He still makes me coffee every morning and brings it to me in bed. When I was diagnosed with my heart failure this man even though the worst of time put me first. On bad days he makes me my dinner and even cuts it up. We still do everything thing together. He always says “ if I have to do anything it’s not worth doing if I can’t do it with you.” He’s been an amazing role model for our son’s and he treats our daughter like she’s a princess. He’s an amazing man. We’re argued over the years because I’m Sicilian American and that’s how we role. But he never spoke a cruel word to me never called me a name and if I’m yelling at him he starts making funny faces at me and I get so mad but yet just start laughing my ass off. We’re still best friends. If ur not best friends u have nothing. I hope they have the love to carry them. Ppl say marriage is hard. N I say no it’s not. If u know who u are and u know u have each other’s back then life is hard ya no doubt but marriage and love is quite simple. If u have to work at it then something is wrong. We never had to work at our marriage. I’ve never had to make myself do nice things for my husband or schedule them. That’s a job not a marriage. If u love each other u respect each other and ur best friends u put no one and nothing before each other other then ur children. Nothing comes first but ur wife or husband. These things are not hard. Life may get hard but ur marriage should never be on the table of being on the hard list. U work together and through shit together and u lean on each other. I think these 2 will make it! U can see it in there eyes.

I don't listen to country music normally, but I saw the song "One of the good ones" in my side bar and gave it a listen and loved it and in the sidebar of that video I saw this video so I checked it out. I sat here crying for 10 minutes through both videos. What a lovely young couple. I hope all is well in your marriage. If your vows are any indication, I am sure you will live a long happy life together. I've been married to my husband for 28 years (2 boys-1 just graduated from college and one still in high school) and we are still very much in love, still hold hands, still have that "spark" which is why I was crying when I heard "One of the Good Ones" because it reminded me of my husband. I started crying when I saw the little ring bearer in the wheelchair. Our son was the ring bearer at our wedding, he had cerebral palsy. Seeing the little boy in your wedding brought on a bitter sweet memory, as our son passed away in 2017 at the age of 14 from complications from CP. ❤💔❤
