I bought 65mm pulse wheels months ago and they are very heavy, big and intimidating on my current skates. So I bought the radars 57mm yesterday, I think these will be a easier transition wheel to restart skating as a beginner.
They are much more agile for sure! I do still find I need to pump/stride a good amount since they are both smaller and softer, but it’s been fun having smaller wheels that can tackle some pebbles 🙂
I was just looking for this exact information. Ty! Im very new back on skates and finding the big wheels really fast and high. Makes me feel really out of control and unstable at times (obviously i need more practice 😅) but these smaller wheels sound like they would work for gaining more confidence in my skating.
hi! o/ i see you mentioned the sure-grip gravity wheels here; i’ve seen the gravity wheels online and i’m interested in them, but haven’t been able to find many reviews! i was wondering, what was your expedience with the gravities like?
I saw quite a few 5 star reviews on Amazon. I would have to say I feel like they’re probably pretty comparable to the Atom pulse outdoor wheels. They are large and bouncy so they will cover tough territory. however, they are pretty chunky so it will be a lot harder to do fancy foot work and jam or dance style skating. It really kind of depends on the skating you’re going for whether you’re going for more tricks and dance work or you just wanna smooth ride on outdoor surfaces.
I have radar 62mm /78a wheels for outside and I really like them! I am primarily an indoor skater w/ 57mm wheels so this 62mm height is good for me. I will say though, I think if you are a big trail skater, who skates like 3+ miles on various textures outside you may wan the 65mm to just be sure you kinda can roll over most debris more easily.
Yes if you. are working on footwork and outdoor 78a 57 or 58 mm wheel is ideal! I am not there yet but I already have my wheels for when I am ready!! I found a cheap pair of kryptonic wheels....
I was thinking of purchasing these wheels but I skate on rough asphalt so I’m not sure if they’ll hold up :( I do need smaller wheels though! Trying to learn transitions on large bulky wheels feels impossible
I believe these wheels are recommended for rough asphalt so you should be good to go! Now as someone who is also struggling to learn transitions outdoors, I will say that this wheel isn’t necessarily a miracle wheel I don’t think there really is any one wheel where I was completely amazed at my agility improvements. It’s subtle, but I will say that I’ve been able to start learning cross overs with more ease because it’s not as big and bulky. Plus I like balancing on smaller wheels these days 😊 I think they are definitely worth it for the price point they are at!
@@jennywithay8344 completely agree regarding no wheel being a miracle wheel to improve skills! I will definitely keep an eye out for the radar wheels as most are sold out for now. Nice video btw :) very helpful
I can't believe there aren't a thousand people on here yelling about you showing your mailing address for the world to see. Well let me start it off. Be safe.

Love your video
What is your recommendation for the best outdoor wheel ??
So far these radar's have been great for skating around my neighborhood. Also love the luminous wheels!

Nice video!❤ I've been hearing so much about the radar wheels. I may need to invest in them soon!
Thank you! They are at a decent price point and I’ve enjoyed learning crossovers with them 😊

No, you need the smaller wheels for footwork, tricks and spins. It's harder to achieve those moves with bigger wheels

You have rachel maksy energy 😌
Thank you for the compliment 🥰
