Can you lock certain components to prevent it from being affected by Soft Selection? I've tried hiding it but it's still getting affected. In Blender this technique can be done.

Hey is it possible to deselect some parts?
For example, you want translate the forehead but not the eyes?
Maybe like an mask or something?

Try to separate the different polys using a mask tool.

How do you edit the membership of the soft mod tool?? I have points selected but I want to remove points from the soft mod selection.. how do I do that in maya 2022?? It seems to have changed from previous versions
