What'd you do...pay TH-cam to have bots post comments on your TH-cam videos? Why?
I love this young man's joy as he explains all things PSU football. I'm less depressed now after getting this detailed analysis. It's been cathartic. This has been great - and wonderful work.
I appreciate your analysis. My only pushback is that the PSU coordinators out coaches the first half. ND’s out coaches the second. It was a crazy take of two halves.
Never stop talking PSU ball, man. You’re the only person I can honestly listen to after that loss. Literally no one else knows what they’re saying. You make sense. Keep going.
Landon, in the media world of hot takes, perpetuating narratives, and purely statistical analysis you are running laps around those people with your analysis. Video tape and All-22 breakdowns with knowledge of the concepts because you played is still undefeated. We need more people like you doing this. 💪🏻
Hey Landon, Notre dame fan here - just wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the content breaking down ND's offense and defense earlier this week. Wild game last night and definitely sharing your page with some of the PSU fans I know!
Landon usually don’t comment on social media post. But I feel like I had to come on here and express my gratitude to you and your channel. Truly something great cooking here and can’t wait to see where it goes. Selfishly, I am proud that I can say in 5-10 years I was one of the first. All seriousness, appreciate man and you have a fan for the long run. 🤞
Landon great analysis of the game. The wide receivers let us done I think, couldn’t break away from single coverage and man to man. Seems to me we couldn’t stop ND in the second half.
I can't talk about the game anymore. But it's amazing to watch each of your videos get better. Title slide and intro music with a sub reminder. Nice edits.
I am a regular listener over on the Lions 247 podcast. How you conducted yourself in their interview the other day made me want to check out your podcast. Just listened and I will be a regular moving forward. Keep up the great work and here’s to hoping for a great 2025 season ahead. #WeAre
Great analysis, probably the best out there, subscribed ! Also, could you talk about our roster for 2025, just to set expectations right from our team for next season 😀
Classic game last night. Much respect to your Nittany Lions Landon. No quit in them. Shout out to Tyler and Abdul. They are legit killers at their respective positions. Best of luck to Penn St in the future and maybe we see each other again next year. Sorry to here about your football career that is tough but glad you had the right support to help you get back up and get back on the grind. Congrats on earning your degree. That’s something that they cant take away from you. 🙌. Big thanks for all the hard work you put into this show and the knowledge you are giving us fans with a lesser football IQ. Much appreciated 🙏. Look forward to seeing you grow this platform young man. 🤝.
Really appreciate your breakdown and the fact you give credit where due. So many people look to dump on the whole team when a few don't have a good day. Please keep up the good work I will continue to follow and spread the word.
Landon is crushing it. Love how you cover the game & bring in people/ stories from the past. That Guido interview was awesome- as a student during those first white out games. Get this in your regular TH-cam rotation ppl!
Love the breakdowns and love the passion you are bringing to this form of media. Really cool how you ended this video telling a bit about your current story. I’m a fan and look forward to where you go!
Landon, What a great job you do. Keep it up bro. I've learned a ton watching the film study vids this season. You have a bright future and are the embodiment of success with honor. I especially like your segments with Spider and Goon. I'm 55 and remember all those old games. It brings back great memories.
Landon, keep up the great work and we'll keep spreading the word about your channel. Congrats on making it to 5000. Did you ever think about doing a walk and talk? Since you live in State College maybe do an interview with one of the players or coaches walking through the campus? It really is a special place and I always love seeing it! BTW I loved the golfing you did last summer too...
Thanks for everything you do brother, love my Nittany Lions, hated how the season ended, but was still a great season, how many guys are expected to come back next season
From the first time I watched on of your very early podcasts, I messaged you with a tip of the hat and pat on the back. Your doing great work and you are killing it. Glad to know you have Sara in your corner, best of the best to you. If you lead, I will follow.
Hey Bro. You owned it . Very entertaining and informative as always. Keep bringing videos like this and your channel will definitely grow. Thanks for sharing. Love you too. Craig Hollidaysburg
Landon, Thank you for what you did for this program. You battled until you had nothing left to give. You were a part of this team's success this season even though you weren't officially on the roster. As a fan base, we are hurting immensely right now and I know you feel that pain too. I can't imagine how the players, coaches, support staff, trainers, and others feel today. I'm happy that you have found your niche after football and are succeeding. Keep up the great work, my friend. God bless.
Dude you are doing such a fantastic job and I really can’t wait to see your media career grow. Such a bummer this game was but great breakdown and thanks for all the content.
❤ u LT. This content may just beat the pregame show about the 2007 game. Didn’t know ur personal history. Subscribed for life . Keep it rolling bro and F Lee Corso, Finebaum, and the KF haters
@ LT not to be a d bag but I had no idea about ur health issues. I would love to know more as we have all kinds of family involved in football. Ur experience may help a lot of people despite having to deal with the memories. U would be providing value insight
@LandonTengwall58 we can't understand because of how close you were to the guys, but i hear you. I woke up so many times last night thinking about it and being 💔. Can't imagine what CJF, the staff and players felt. Looking forward to following you here. Next time your in TX, hit me up! We'll grab a beer together.
Hey man great breakdown and video, I just gotta say your dudes warren and carter are gonna menace in the league. Good game we were a great matchup. Epic game
Tremendous story/journey and tremendous job breaking down these games and film...got a sub from me and im not even a PSU fan. Keep doing your thing Landon!!!
Love your content man. I hope your page continues to grow. Set expectations lower during off-season but please keep it up. You're talented. Can't wait to see you hit 50k subs
Landon glad you found your niche. Love to watch your shows. The other elephant in the room is of course the disdain the fans have for coach Franklin. My opinion is he is a great coach. His recruiting ability is great. He made some comments about players getting degrees, which probably doesn’t happen at all schools. He also seems to have great love and respect for his players.
Finally someone puts some respect on the forgotten #11. Brandon bell was awesome. I do think he was a step down from parsons Arrington and Carter. But he carried the legacy of the sticks well!
You know it wasn’t a win but they played and good game and fell short .the team we thank you for a great season, through out the whole year we was under minded by the media so much that it got sick. We’ll take lessons from this and move forward. Thank you for a great season, WE ARE !!!!
As a Notre Dame fan I was impressed with Andy Kotelnicki. Nd lost there d ends early in the season and he took advantage of that by running at the edges. Also utilizing some good screen passes when ND blitzed big time. I do think the ND coordinators won the second half though. I also think ND ended up being the more resilient team. Penn State will be back once they get the receiver position figured out.
I’ve been a PSU fan since I was 7 years old. I’m 28 now this is the most crushing and painful loss I can remember. I hope the boys are proud of this year but know there’s room to get better
Hey, Landon, when you get the All 22, I'd love to know several things: 1) What did ND do differently in the 2nd half on offense to run the ball better? Their successful play rate was WAY better in the 2nd half. On the other hand, for the game, Penn State really was more efficient. 2) How many times was Abdul held egregiously? You know we gotta know. Exact count, baby. Great job.
I can just imagine Abdul sitting in his room for 3 days watching the Vader scene from Rogue One on repeat just mentally preparing for that next rep hahaha
ND fan here. You ran on us and sacked our QB 5X. The defensive and offensive players of the game were PSU players, namely 11 and 44. A couple of plays decided this game. This is a great Penn State team, and this was a great game. We’re fortunate to win.
How was Warren the player of the game? Lol. He was completely held in check- Greathouse and Leonard had better games than him- Did you watch the second half? Also- 2 of the sacks were against our backup QB on the same series and two backup OL who had to come in and play due to injuries. Penn State was outplayed on offense and defense in the second half- ND outscored them 24-14 and held a significant advantage in yards. Including the sack (- 8 yards) ND held PSU to 63 yds on 17 carries (3.7 yds per carry).
@ It’s obvious how much effort this man puts into his channel to be precise and fair. Don’t disrespect his work by showing this much incompetence to watch and analyze a game our team won. Warren and Carter were so disruptive it was mind boggling. I haven’t seen forces like this on the same team since 1993 FSU with Ward and Brooks. In addition to Warren’s total yards from scrimmage, how many people did he truck to help spring Singleton and Allen? Watch the game, again. It’s worth it!
-Credit Air Love and ND's banged up backups that balled out. We have no developmental depth. - Omari Evans has 30 catches in three years. We rarely target Clifford. Fleming's a bust. No surprise Drew can't get into a rhythm with the short to intermediate. -Allar may have hit his ceiling partially due to the fact we never check hot to slot. Hybrid defense do trigger so Allar needs to learn to air mail it to the bench if there's nothing there/ pressure. Don't dirt it late and across the field. Going into a rebuilding year with the portal closing in a couple days. Next year will be an adventure.
Hurt last night I’ve waited so long . I’m beginning to accept it’s not going to happen in my life . Last night was the best draw the best opportunity we’re ever gonna get for another 40 years.
What did u see in the passing game that led u to think Allar could drive them into FG range w 40 seconds left? was just listening to Urban Meyer saying going for it with 40 seconds left was a mistake that he called before the play started. I agree.
Of the 2024 & 2025 WR recruits plus the two portal adds, are there any game breakers? What cureent WRs run poor routes and/or don't have separation speed? Will a new WR coach make a difference? Basically, what does the WR for 2025 look like, and is there any improvement? Also, the QB room needs a guru, like Tiger Woods had Butch Harmon.
Landon dont you think that taking that game to OT would givePSU a major advantage, better defense, better run game, dont need the wide receivers as much
Hey Landon - I was at the game and what I don't understand is Penn State was blowing ND D line off the ball 2nd qtr. How did Notre Dame D line sure that up in the second half? It felt like it wasn't a matter of skill but just power. How did they counteract that?
How does Allar take the field on that final possession without Franklin or any other coach reiterating to him that the most important thing that he does is not turn the ball over? I am absolutely shocked that Franklin did not remind Allar the importance of not turning the ball over in that particular situation. What the hell else is a head coach for?
Love your analysis of o line play and your attitude. I agree with your thoughts on this game in general; however, while agreeing the WR room leaves alot to be desired, I don't think we needed then to win this game. Even with the wide outs none existent, Allard missed multiple open receivers (singleton twice, and others), and we still dominated the game and should have won, with out the WRs. So why didn't Kolinicki(sp?) stay with the run more, then adjust to their adjustments. Where did Warren in the wildcat go, why not use Allen, singleton and Warren rotate in the wildcat and physically dominate, then little play action to Warren, etc. I don't understand our philosophy, to me it seems we have no identity and will establish a game plan then move way to soon away from successful running game for example. So, while I agree Allard had a horrible game and maybe an average QB, with incredible tools, my blame goes directly to Franklin and Kolinicki for not putting and using the weapons available to win a game which we had in the palm of our hands. Overall, I congratulate all the players, wish the best for Allard and how he continues to improve. I also want to thank Franklin and the staff for getting PSU back to respectable football. Graduated in "82" so my PSU memories are of champions, with Honor, and the greatest football/mentor coach of all time Paterno!! Keep it up your doing great job!!!!
Appreciate your analysis but how on Earth could you say you took Golden to the woodshed without a single reception from a WR lmao. Just unbelievable spin zone
To much cope to the analysis to get pass to the first few minutes. But enjoyed his features on pods this past week. But this is clearly a healing aession for their fans. Good luck to the nittany lions next year.
it’s strange because while drew did not have a good game we only were hurt by it at the very end both the other “bad throws” actually benefited our offense when u think about it
Everyone is blaming Franklin because it's easy to blame him. Which I understand because it's another big game lost. Many reasons we lost mainly Drew Allar and the wide receivers he missed a TD early and a late INT. Abdul's injury caused him to lose a fumble. I mainly want to blame Pat Kraft and the university for not increasing our NIL because Franklin can't get these big name recruits and Portal. They can spend 700 million on a stadium. If we want to compete with Ohio State we have to spend more money and get these big names. Drew Allar with elite talent would make him elite all the way
Love you guys! My posting schedule goes as follows

Appreciate the support Tom!
I love this young man's joy as he explains all things PSU football. I'm less depressed now after getting this detailed analysis. It's been cathartic. This has been great - and wonderful work.
Thank you so much!! Means a lot
I appreciate your analysis. My only pushback is that the PSU coordinators out coaches the first half. ND’s out coaches the second. It was a crazy take of two halves.

Perfect analysis. One thing - ND had three timeouts on the int drive. ND was getting the ball back if PSU played for OT.
Appreciate that man, you guys have some damn good coaching!
I love this podcast dude

I think you should seriously consider being a coach Landon !!
I appreciate that! I love doing media, but thank you for the support my man
Carter and Garrett on the ends. Sick!!!
Landon if you want to help this team, you need to apply for a position in JF’s staff. You have a skill, use it. Thank you bro!
I can just imagine Abdul sitting in his room for 3 days watching the Vader scene from Rogue One on repeat just mentally preparing for that next rep hahaha
Right lmaooo
I'm Notre dame all the way but Abdul Carter was the player of the game dudes a beast can't wait to see him in the NFL with both arms lol

Landon dont you think going to OT would be a major advantage to p s u
Landon dont you think that taking that game to OT would givePSU a major advantage, better defense, better run game, dont need the wide receivers as much
It does, but you still try and win it there. It’s making me sick even talking about it. We have to try there
Hey Landon - I was at the game and what I don't understand is Penn State was blowing ND D line off the ball 2nd qtr. How did Notre Dame D line sure that up in the second half? It felt like it wasn't a matter of skill but just power. How did they counteract that?
20:00 that’s an awesome Abdul Carter story
Appreciate that! He’s legendary
How does Allar take the field on that final possession without Franklin or any other coach reiterating to him that the most important thing that he does is not turn the ball over? I am absolutely shocked that Franklin did not remind Allar the importance of not turning the ball over in that particular situation. What the hell else is a head coach for?
PSU third down conversions 2024...
Minny 1-11
USC 4-13
OSU 3-11
ND 3-11
Can you remind me at what point in the game was that missed wheel route to singleton?
I believe it was start of 2nd half but I need to go look
How do we get Franklin to hire you? I feel like someone there could hear this evaluation.
Hahah I won’t take it! I love doing media
Drew “Ol Dirty Bastard” Allar
Why was Koby in coverage, he should have covered the spy on Ryan and Royals should have covered.
To much cope to the analysis to get pass to the first few minutes. But enjoyed his features on pods this past week. But this is clearly a healing aession for their fans. Good luck to the nittany lions next year.
it’s strange because while drew did not have a good game we only were hurt by it at the very end both the other “bad throws” actually benefited our offense when u think about it
Scouts should be drooling about Singleton
Everyone is blaming Franklin because it's easy to blame him. Which I understand because it's another big game lost. Many reasons we lost mainly Drew Allar and the wide receivers he missed a TD early and a late INT. Abdul's injury caused him to lose a fumble. I mainly want to blame Pat Kraft and the university for not increasing our NIL because Franklin can't get these big name recruits and Portal. They can spend 700 million on a stadium. If we want to compete with Ohio State we have to spend more money and get these big names. Drew Allar with elite talent would make him elite all the way
