I watched the entire game. I don’t understand the criticism of James Franklin. Don’t get me wrong, I can point to many moments during the season where blame is appropriate. But last night? Idk. Drew Allar for the most part was struggling. And then if you listen to what Drew said about that interception it makes sense. He said he went through his progressions & no one was open. So he’s gotta throw it out of bounds to a nearby receiver. He said he tried to throw it at the receivers feet….?? Nah. James Franklin did well this game imo.

I disagree with dominated in 1st half. Both defensives played well
And to think there was pundits actually trying to tell us that Allar was better than both Sanders and Ward 😂
Thank you for you for having EJ and Louis up here for actually analyzing the game and saying what really happened unlike Paul who never really just talks about actual football just create narratives I remember he use to do the same to jim harbaugh smh like anybody who actually watched the game would tell u this loss is not on James Franklin
Same thing happened in the Oregon game - forced deep ball throw ending in an interception. Hats off to the Irish - hope they can take it all from here!
I need the same energy they had for Ryan Day
The Big 10/SEC network monopoly hates an outsider playing for the Naty.....
i dont understand how no one is questioning why they didnt bring it into ot? Just ignoring the obvious

GO IRISH ☘️
I watched the entire game. I don’t understand the criticism of James Franklin. Don’t get me wrong, I can point to many moments during the season where blame is appropriate. But last night? Idk. Drew Allar for the most part was struggling. And then if you listen to what Drew said about that interception it makes sense. He said he went through his progressions & no one was open. So he’s gotta throw it out of bounds to a nearby receiver. He said he tried to throw it at the receivers feet….?? Nah. James Franklin did well this game imo.
I am so tired of people not giving Notre Dame credit for this amazing run! They are a great team with an amazing Secondary and Linebackers who play hard-nosed, unselfish Football, and even though their ENTIRE STARTING DEFENSIVE LINE is out, the Back-ups have played lights out!
Notre Dame isn't "getting lucky".
Notre Dame didn't "have the game handed to them"
Penn State didn't make a mistake at a crucial moment, NOTRE DAME FORCED THAT MISTAKE!
Notre Dame won all of these games! They WON!
Nobody "gave" these wins to them.
Let's be clear here...
We are going to the National Championship Game, boys!
GO IRISH!!!
Notre Dame and Penn State were evenly matched. It was going to come down to who made the last mistake and it happened to be Penn State.
Finabaum up on the panel like:
"My precious! No one can take you from me!" 🧟🧟🧟
Such an awesome game man fun mind boggling game
It’s wild these guys are STILL making excuses for drew allard 😂
I swear it really hurts these SEC shills like Finebum souls to give credit to ND. If ND wins the title this will be two years in a row that Finebum will look like the fool he is. Franklin didn't lose that game, ND WON that game. Instead of giving credit to Love for refusing to give up on that TD run or the defense for making a key play or even to Freeman for not letting ND make excuses he goes to his old tired BS.
You know Michigan got lucky against Alabama last year and that ND beat a Georgia team with a back-up QB. I love ND but lets admit they should have lost this game. They just got lucky against Penn St. But you are in denial.
@@nitrosportschannel Call it whatever you want you still have to call them the winners.
ND had a 3rd and 5. Penn State played a defense with their cornerback 15 yards off the receiver. Easiest conversion of the night.
watch that play again for you to see what really happened before Greathouse made the catch. It was luck that his man slipped.
Blame the game. More games doesn't mean more chances to win the National championship, it means more games to lose. PSU ends the season 13-3 and finished somewhere in the Top 15, and people want to blame James Franklin for #1, not winning the B1G championship and #2, not winning the National Championship. Standards are high, but we need to stop being ridiculous. There are 125 teams that would love to be in PSU's cleats.
What are you talking about? Real Penn State fans want a national championship. Franklin is 1-15 against top 5 teams and 4-20 against top 10 teams since he's been the head coach at Penn State!! Most of Penn State's wins every year are against tomato can teams.

Hopper, A Bugs Life 👍
James Franklin reminds me of Schottenheimer as a head coach. Really good coach with teams so close to winning it all. Doesn’t make them choke artist coach sometimes their qb plays bad and somehow the coach gets the blame .
The way Coach looking at the post game presser😂😂 tf you mean you tried to throw it at his feet smh
Better team, superior coaching. Go Irish! 🍀
I am for Irish but we know they got lucky.
@@nitrosportschannel Yes- ND's recruiting of their team's athletic talent combined with the hiring of Marcus Freeman & their other coaching staff was indeed fortunate. A truly wining formula. Go Irish! 🍀
@@nitrosportschannel Formula for Irish luck= recruit great athletic talent + hire superior coaches + train religiously. Yup, they sure know how to get lucky. Go Irish! 🍀
@@nitrosportschanneland all
Of those flags 2 INT’s called back on penalties that “elite” qb threw into TRIPLE coverage and got bailed out , he threw into TRIPLE coverage
IF PSU has half decent QB ND gets blown out
It was a competitive game, no one to blame, both teams played well
Franklin couldn’t have been granted a more favorable path to the title. He breezed by his first two College Football Playoff opponents, SMU and Boise State. But when it came time to face a truly legitimate contender, with a storied history and the potential to compete for a championship, Franklin’s group couldn’t get it done.
Congrats, coach Freeman.
Anyone wanna argue over kids having fun?😂
I like EJ Manuel. He’d be a good addition imo
I thought it was a joke that PSU was 1-18 against top 5 teams under Franklin. After watching this game I now understand why.
No one is to blame. It was an amazing game from both schools...
Extremity replicates contact of the person
Turnovers have always been crucial to victory and/or defeat. Now, go battle for the Ball!
Blame? It was just a good game
At 8:35 the check down was open to the running back.
Heather Dinich said before the season started that she thought the Irish could win the national championship. I thought she was nuts.
All the injuries and the flu they were dealing with and still get the win
Goooo Irish!!!!
